Another recent commission, this one created for a customer who needed a small shrine for her travelling altar.

This is the first time I've created the main body of a shrine on a pottery wheel, which is exciting.
Normally my work is slab/coil built.

It was a challenge to work at a smaller scale, to create the details, but the outcome was good 💛

I plan to experiment further with wheel-thrown forms 😉

This little sleeping Hare is one of several commissions I've been working on over the past couple of months.

I'm happy with the outcome 😊

A press mould of the design allows me to reproduce the original piece, with small variations and different finishes. The first two of these are now ready:
