Yesterday was definitely on the quiet side thanks to the constant rain ☔️ It just didn’t stop did it! One week we’re battling a 30°C heatwave, and the next we’re wading through torrential rain 🙃

Janine and I spent most of the day getting fully stocked up and ahead on prep, so that on Saturday, when everyone comes rushing to Barton Bakes 😏, you’ll be spoilt for choice. In fact, you’ll be stood there telling me there’s far too much to choose from and you can’t possibly decide 🤭

As always, a huge thank you to everyone who still braved the weather and popped by for their Barton Bakes fix yesterday. Your support means the absolute world to us, whether it’s sunshine, heatwaves, or pouring rain. We appreciate every single one of you ❤️

Well yesterday’s heatwave brought a little shift in popularity at Barton Bakes ☀️

The sunnier days have definitely arrived because we sold SOO many salads and butties… and believe it or not, nowhere near as many hot pies as usual 😅

I mean, we still sold a fair few pies, so fair play to those of you enjoying pie, peas and gravy in 30° heat 🥵👏🏼

We also sold out of a huge batch of lamb broth too… you lot are hardcore 😂

But back to the butties and salads…

These definitely took over yesterday, which means you’ll be seeing LOTS of new varieties landing very soon 👀

You know me and my brain… once the ideas start flowing, there’s no stopping me 😅
