“Can you design somewhere to hide my…?”

Yes, and this is exactly how.

A clever pull-out tray hidden inside a corner cupboard, keeping the worktops clear without making, in this case, the toaster, difficult to use. But it works for lots of other small appliances too… coffee machine, air fryer etc.

A simple detail, but a brilliant addition to this sleek Pronorm handleless kitchen.

A subtle detail that makes a big difference.

Adding lighting to a handleless rail gives the kitchen a soft, luxurious glow, highlights the clean lines and creates a real statement after dark.

Would you add this to your kitchen?

This is definitely a luxury option. A sink on an island can work really well when the kitchen has enough space for TWO islands. 🫣

One island can become the main prep and cleaning zone, with the sink and dishwasher, while the second can house the hob and create a dedicated cooking area.

It is a great way to make a large kitchen feel practical, organised and easy to use, without losing the impact of a statement island layout.

This is why we love a big island. 🤍

It becomes so much more than a place to prepare food. It’s where everyone naturally gathers, whether it’s breakfast before work, a glass of wine while someone’s cooking, or catching up with family at the end of the day.

This Pronorm German kitchen gets it just right. A bold statement island, comfortable seating, and a layout that’s designed to be lived in, not just admired.

Would an island like this be at the top of your wish list?

Pink in the kitchen, yes or no?

Pink can feel like a bold choice, but the secret is all in the shade. Choose something too bright and it can quickly become overpowering. Go for a soft, muted pink and it feels warm, sophisticated and surprisingly timeless.

Paired with natural timber, beautiful stone, warm metals and soft neutral tones, pink becomes much more than a statement colour. It adds personality without feeling sugary, and creates a kitchen that feels calm, considered and full of character.

It might not be the obvious choice, but that is exactly what makes it interesting.

Would you be brave enough to choose pink for your kitchen? Vote in the poll. 🫣

This is one of those layouts that just works.

Dishwasher on one side, bin on the other, sink in the middle.

So when you’re clearing up, everything is exactly where you need it.

A Belfast sink this big and deep makes washing up the larger bits so much easier.

Simple, practical and it looks great too.

Some things just deserve their own space.

A hidden coffee station with a pull-out drawer keeps everything exactly where you need it. The machine stays put, the drawer does the work, and when you’re finished, everything disappears back behind clean, uninterrupted lines.

It’s the little details that make a kitchen feel effortless.

Sometimes less really is more.

A good kitchen doesn’t need to be packed with stuff. When it’s designed properly, everything just sits where you’d naturally reach for it. No digging through cupboards, no walking back and forth, no wondering where you put things. Everything is designed to be easily reached.

Watch how this one works. Everything close to hand, nothing in the way. That’s the whole point.

Simple, done well, beats busy every time.

The difference between a good utility room and a great one.

It’s often the details you don’t notice at first.

Raised washing machines and tumble dryers might not be the most exciting feature in a home, but they’re one of the most practical.

No constant bending down. Which means easier loading and unloading. And there’s loads of useful storage space too.

Good design isn’t just about how a room looks. It’s about how it works, day after day, year after year.

Would you raise yours?

The simplest layouts are often the best.

Dishwasher on the left, sink in the middle, bin on the right.

It sounds simple, but it just works. Everything is exactly where you need it when you’re loading, unloading, rinsing, or cleaning up.

Good kitchen design isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes it’s about getting the basics absolutely right.
