I’d be eternally grateful if florists would give me an idea of the colour scheme brides are heading for next season. This is the time I start planning for next year and what to grow en mass and what to grow a few of. I buy Seeds Soon and sow bi-annual flowers now. I’m a whole sale grower and am largely unaware of trends. This year seems to be orange…. 🤷🏻‍♀️If I’d known last June I would have started more. I can’t grow it all and time it perfectly but any suggestions for next season would be appreciated. 🙏

I’d be eternally grateful if florists would let me know what colour ways they are taking bookings for for next season. This time of the year flower farmers are planning their planting for next season- buying seed and bringing on bi-annuals etc and sorting cuttings. I can’t grow everything but I can grow more of a trend if I know what brides are heading towards. 🙏 thank you

Farm Fest 2026
There have been a fair few disgruntled traders here. Some have even left early due to financial losses and poor sales.
My thinking: I am a farmer.I am a flower farmer. These are my people and public who appreciate farmers. Our wonderful organisation deserve promotion. Our hard working network of volunteers have achieved so much this week at Chelsea and even if I’m out of pocket on sales, I’m here, I’m smiling and I’m showing the public what British flowers are all about. Everyone I have chatted with is amazed at the variety and versatility of our flowers. I chose to show my dried collection as I know they can stand the heat. Next year I’d love to do a big display to wow the public. Sometimes financial losses can be turned to advantage by simply BEING SEEN!

Whaaat! Every year I kick myself that I don’t set out support early enough. Think I missed the boat on this tunnel 😬 A lady said to me the other day “ I hope you don’t mind me saying, but it doesn’t look very “floriforous”.” My point- if I’ve got flowers today then im doing something wrong. There will be more tomorrow 🌹😜 flower grower

Evolution of a dragon. Why? - because I have sooo much time! 😬 so pleased I managed it. She attracted tonnes of attention and so many folk this weekend admired her and said how nice it was that stand holders make such an effort to decorate their stalls and showcase their skills. Now for the next one!
