Yay I won first place for sculpture from Nuneaton Festival of Arts and the John Letts trophy, for my sculpture called "My place". Made from wire, wool, canvas and sitting on a peice of driftwood. I received my trophy and certificate from Mayor Bhim Saru, thank you. It cheered me up, I was feeling fed up because I didnt get accepted for the London exhibition, oh well I will try again next year. Wishing you a peaceful and creative weekend ♥️ Ruth X

Good morning and happy friday 🐞 this is my spring fairy I sculptured using clay and wire, lace and glitter for her wings. She is holding a tiny in her hands, but you cant really see it. I think I will make a ladybird fairy next? Wishing you a peaceful weekend 🙏 Ruth 🩷

Wishing you a peaceful and lovely Easter 🐣 I made this flower arrangement wednesday night at anyone can come along watch tutorials and have ago yourself, you can pay for each session or a yearly membership, thank you for a great night 💛 I am working Good friday and Saturday, then having 2 days off spending it with family how about you? Goodmorning and happy friday 💛 we are finally having lovely weather here in Nuneaton, its not raining! I hope my American friends will be ok with the heat wave! Goodmorning and happy friday ♥️ yay got excepted for this artwork called 'Free' pastel drawing on leather in the The Albany Theatre Coventry, International Women exhibition. Goodmorning ❤️ This a new painting "I can do this on my own" Acrylic paint with gold and silver leaf, on a A5 board. With the words in silver paint underneath the turtle, you cant ses the words in this photo, I will put another pic in my comments of it. It looks so beautiful when the light hits it. I am very proud to be on the committee of Nuneaton Festival of Arts Nuneaton Festival of Arts. A celebration of Arts including performing arts, visual arts and Creative Arts. A great privilege to have a personal tour inside the Council house and Chambers by the lord Mayor Bhim Saru thank you for a very interesting and lovely time ❤️

Happy January and 2026 ✨️ I am having an organising day while off work, adding photos and trying videos on social media. I have tried using paint for candles that worked out well I think, I am looking into learning more artistic skills this year. I am also volunteering on the committee of Nuneaton Festival of Arts, and thinking of ideas for my entries for that and other art competitions. Any ideas would be great? I am also going to do some demonstrations and chat events at my local community centre for mothers day The ‘FORD Community Centre I will post dates and more info soon. And also A wellbeing course funded by the union. I need creative things to look forward too to help me get through hard shifts at work at the hospital and cold and miserable January ❄️ wishing you a beautiful week 💙 Ruth X
