Pr 143:
We’re noticing the effects of higher Interest rates making it very difficult to be able to afford moving houses. We are often a part of designing & remodelling newly bought houses but, with affordability of new/ bigger houses being difficult, it maybe that your existing house can be made to work with much less money or borrowing costs.
This is an example of my own home that is a tiny 3.5m square extension that connects with the garden, is a pleasant window seating area at the end of a kitchen, and also integrated with lots of storage.
Small space, multi-functional, and really pleasant to be in. We’re genuinely enjoying having weekend brunches with the bi-folds fully open at the moment.
If buying a new house is not possible, it’s worth investing in a really good Architect/ Designer to see what could be possible in your existing home with clever ideas. Do your research and choose wisely with someone who you believe will understand you and your family’s needs and dreams.
It’s also worth linking up with excellent remortgage / financial advisors to help you with more affordable budgets when investing in your existing homes. We know some great advisors in Leicestershire and can connect you if required.
