A Blue Book Friend, 40 years in the making!

We spent an afternoon with Erik Karlsen at Pulbrook & Gould in South Kensington, reflecting on the house’s 70-year history and the transformative power of flowers in any space.

For those not already familiar with their exquisite work, you can see it at LAPADA in Berkeley Square, where Pulbrook & Gould are the Official Floral Partner.

Flowers should be experienced with all the senses.

Their colours catch the eye, their textures invite a closer look, and their fragrance lingers gently throughout the home. It is this quiet combination of beauty and scent that has made fresh flowers such an enduring part of everyday British life for generations.

Some of our earliest memories are made in the garden.

Long before we know the names of the flowers, we are drawn to their colours, their fragrance, and the wonder of watching them bloom. It is a curiosity that often begins in childhood and, for many of us, grows into a lifelong appreciation.
