From flaky wallpaper to something that completely transforms the feel of the room.
When we first saw this entertainment space, the walls were tired, uneven and ready for a fresh start. The brief was simple: create a space with real impact while making the most of the incredible ceiling height.
Double-height beaded panelling was the obvious choice. It instantly draws your eye upwards, adds so much character and gives the room the presence it deserved.
We finished everything in Farrow & Ball Jitney, fully colour drenching the space to create a warm, seamless look that feels both cosy and luxurious.
✨ It’s amazing what thoughtful design and beautifully crafted panelling can do. What was once a room with peeling wallpaper is now a space made for entertaining and one the homeowners can truly enjoy.
Sometimes it’s the walls that make all the difference.

PANELLING TRANSFORMATION 🤯
What was hiding behind this wallpaper?
When we started removing the old wallpaper in this hallway, we uncovered a hidden mould problem that had been concealed for years.
This is exactly why proper preparation is so important before installing wall panelling.
After treating the affected area and preparing the walls correctly, we completely transformed the space with bespoke beaded wall panelling, creating a modern, luxury hallway that’s now full of character.
The difference between the before and after is incredible.

✨ KITCHEN & DINING ROOM MAKEOVER ✨
This recent kitchen renovation features bespoke shaker wall panelling, designed to seamlessly continue the style of the newly installed Wren shaker kitchen throughout the kitchen and dining room.
By extending the shaker design beyond the cabinetry, the entire space feels more cohesive, elegant and thoughtfully designed. The addition of bespoke panelling has brought depth, character and architectural detail to the room, completely enhancing the overall look and feel of the space.
The colour scheme features Strong White by Farrow & Ball on the ceilings and upper walls, creating a bright, timeless backdrop that perfectly complements the shaker panelling.
Panelling is one of the most effective ways to transform a room, adding texture, interest and a bespoke finish that elevates the whole design. Seeing this project come together has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m so proud of the finished result.

Wall panelling is one of the most effective ways to completely elevate your entrance space — and this project is proof. From a plain hallway to a timeless, elegant feature that flows beautifully throughout the home.
We paired Skimming Stone and Strong White by Farrow & Ball to create a calm, warm, and inviting feel — the perfect balance of soft neutrals for a busy family home. The result? A light, cohesive space that feels effortlessly styled and completely Pinterest-worthy.
Using high-quality dado rail and beading from Cheshire Mouldings, supplied by MKM Building Supplies, we achieved a clean, classic finish that adds depth and character without overwhelming the space.
This one felt extra special — transforming a home for an old school friend made it even more meaningful 🤍
