NEW PROJECT - The Epperstone House Master Bedroom

It was a pleasure to be invited back to this beautiful home, for the next phase….

The brief for this Master Bedroom was, ‘Hi-end Beach Hotel’. My client wanted to feel the luxury of their holidays, everyday….

Exploring the best layout for the space, incorporating built-in wardrobes to maximise storage and a dressing table area was a must.

Using neutral tones, natural materials, and textures helps to create the calm beach hotel vibe and a feeling of tranquility.

What we did:

- Flipped the orientation of the room to make space for the most storage.

- Designed a bespoke headboad to frame the bed and create a focal point.

- Added Fabric shades for drama, softness and curves which help to soften the angles in the room.

- wrapped textured wallpaper around the room to create a cosy hotel feel and subtle detail.

- Used clear sockets/ light switch, that blend into the walls and show off the wallpaper detail

- Adding a pop of soft blue on the ceiling adds an unexpected detail of colour.

- Designed an oak picture rail and headboard batons, to add detail back into the room, a contemporary twist of a period feature. Also framing the bed.

- Added statement art to adds a playfulness and colour

The client said this is the fave room in the house now 🩵

Jumping on this trend, albeit a bit late….Meet the team me, myself & I, wearing a lotta hats

My love for interiors was no doubt influenced by my mum…..I found one of these pics and noticed she had hung liberty wallpaper in the bathroom of our first flat. I realised I have the same wallpaper print in my downstairs loo!

It’s about time I posted to say HNY!!

Some home shots. Trend or not I love how brown and caramel earthy tones, even in small doses add a more grounding and grown up feel to pastels, and I do love a pastel. my Sunday musings, hope you’re having a lovely weekend?
