🎄Christmas🎄Brunch 🍳

Before the haraam police get me….
I just want to say I don’t celebrate Christmas but I do take advantage of the holiday season by spending quality time with the family with lots of food, junk and movies.

Every year I start the day with a mega brunch. This time I made a full English with Karak chai. I also have to have something sweet after, so we had pastries with fruit.

I love the smiles on my family’s faces alhumdulillah. And I love feeding them. ❤️

Shana Foods!

I was kindly gifted these mixed veg parathas and garlic parathas by which we enjoyed with spicy scrambled eggs and pickle.

I’m aware of Shana doing delicious frozen plain parathas but to now have a huge variety of parathas is insane. I decided to try these 2 new flavours and I actually enjoyed them both. But the mixed veg parathas were impressive.

The huge range of parathas is perfect to keep each member of the family happy 😃 They are a life saver and so convenient to have in the freezer.

The only down fall I found is that the parathas are tiny, maybe because I’m a fatty 😂 which then can get costly.

Ｍｉｘｅｄ Ｒｏｃｋｙ Ｒｏａｄ！

A mixed selection of rocky road that I made for a lovely customer, who trusted me to make them how I pleased.

The 9 piece selection consisted of:
* M&Ms, Hersheys, marshmallows, Biscoff biscuits and Biscoff milk chocolate
* Cadbury caramel, fudge, caramel sauce, marshmallows, Oreos and milk chocolate
* Ferrero Rochers, pretzels, marshmallows, shortbread and milk chocolate
* Ferrero Rochers, mint aero, marshmallows, Oreos and white chocolate

I really enjoy making these and packed them into a hamper with cellophane and a bow. Nothing beats homemade gifts.

Another one ☝️

Yep another hamper…….
But this time it’s bigger with more treats for a special occasion.

I love making these hampers, especially when customers trust me to make it how I please. And as you can see there’s a huge variety of sweets and chocolates.

I did wrap this basket up with cellophane and a fancy silver bow. Swipe to take a look of the finished product.

One day I’ll have to make one for myself 😛

𝓜𝓪𝓭𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 💕

Literally!

My husband asked me on Monday if I could make daal for him on my day off from work with some aloo tikkis. My reply of course, nothing pleases me more than pleasing my families tummies. It also makes my life easier deciding what to make for dinner.

So here we have it, chana daal masala, aloo tikkis and rotis with raita and salad. The combination was amazing. I was drooling and so excited to eat.

We all ate together as a family as it’s been a while, it was amazing being able to enjoy delicious food and catchup on everyone’s day. Even baby tucked into some roti.

Always try make time to sit together and eat as a family! It’s so important and such an amazing feeling alhumdulillah!

👩‍🍳 Chefs For Foodies 🍕

I was kindly sent this pizza kit. I opted for the margarita as its an household favourite.

Chefs For Foodies have a huge range of pizza kits including vegan and gluten free. I loved how you can also chose your day of delivery, so your ingredients are fresh. All ingredients are pre-measured and perfect to make 2 medium pizzas.

So….. I’m not kidding but these pizzas tasted amazing 🤩 It was like they were freshly made at an Italian restaurant. I wasn’t expecting them to taste this good. I was so shocked. Every bite was amazing.

We had so much fun with this kit, the kids absolutely loved it. They read and followed the instructions well and did an awesome job.

I feel the only downfall is the price, they currently range from £17.90- £25. I do think it’s pricey but then again it’s worth it to have an hour or two of quality fun time with the kids. Seeing their happy smiley faces were priceless. Do check them out

I was kindly invited to based in Walsall. On approaching the store, I was amazed with the fascinating neon lighting and funky decor. Despite the the warm and clean environment, I opted to take my food home to enjoy with my family.

YUM do a large variety of halal food and also cater for vegans and vegetarians. I was given a selection of starters, burgers, fries and drinks.

Starters:
Halloumi Strips, Lord of the rings, 5 wings n tings & 2 fries.

Burgers:
We meet again (beef), Mother clucker (chicken) & Holly Chuck (3 patties).

Drinks:
YUM blue mist, YUM cola & YUM strawberry shake.

I loved the the fact the food was fresh and flavoursome. Enjoyed the fresh range of sauces and ingredients used in each burger. My favourite was mother clucker burger, it was so damn good.

All food and drinks were presented in bright quality packaging. On top of all this, the prices are very affordable and wont cost you an arm and leg for a burger. I have tried a lot of burgers and I have to say the beef was not as premium but it still was juicy and delicious. I’m shocked at the quality of food, presentation and yum you get for half the price compared to some burger places out there.

𝘼 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙪𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙮!

And that’s exactly what it did…. Warmed us up in these bitter cold days.

I really wanted lamb for a few days but just didn’t have the time or energy to make it. The day finally came on my day off from work to cook up a storm for my family.

Chana pilau with lamb Jalfrezi with raita…..yum!
It was just perfect and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the taste of lamb compared to mutton and I find it cooks so much quicker.

Which one do you prefer mutton or lamb?

Kebab hot dogs! 🌭

So after a long day at work and school runs etc, I didn’t have the energy to cook. So I had some frozen kebabs and grabbed some brioche hot dogs from and boom dinner sorted!

A dinner in under 20 minutes!

🍪 We’re a batch made in heaven 🍪

Another post featuring my amazing Kinder Bueno Cookies. And yes I’m not joking at the fact that is the first time I baked cookies. Let’s not forget to mention all the help I got from my kiddies. So I guess it was a team effort.

They tasted amazing, I’m not sure I could ever have a cookie better than these, yes they were that good. Kinder chocolate is one of my fave, so these cookies were perfect.

The recipe for this is available on my reel/highlight tab. I used recipe, it was perfect and it not require any tweaks.
