I had the absolute pleasure of being able to make this oak stand to hold this surfboard fin, all the way from Hong Kong where it will make its journey back! Although it looks pretty basic there are plenty of hours in this to get it just right for the client.

Another successful delivery to a very happy client. If this dining table set looks abnormally tall it’s because it is! The client wanted a table that was breakfast bar height so this table is 36” tall. It’s constructed of turned pine legs giving it a farmhouse country style with a much more modern mango wood top. The creamy white base really makes the vibrant wood grain of the mango wood stand out.

I’ve been quite busy lately with my current project and today I had to turn my workshop into a paint booth! 😬🤣

I’ve been on a bit of a dog feeding station frenzy the past couple of weeks! I’ve experimented with a couple of mango wood tops as well and I think they are my new favorites. Most are for sale at my Battles Bridge Antique Center location. My area is on the third floor of the old granary.

This is a recently finished dining room table with matching bench. It’s tops are made from a beautiful mango wood and the frames are constructed of African Sapele painted in white. I think this is a great combination, bringing the tropical woods to a country farmhouse style.

This is a custom shoe cabinet w/drawers that finished a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed working on this as I’ve never done one before, I really liked working out all of the little bits and pieces with this one. It’s painted black over solid hardwood and finished with brass pulls.
