Mr and Mrs Suth wanted a semi naked wedding cake, so that's what they got! This was the first one I've ever made and I'm pretty pleased with the result!
I also painted the bark around the cake stand as this was missing from the original log slice. Some of the bark is real and some is textured and painted. Can you tell?

Hessian and lace. The perfect combo for a rustic barn wedding! 12 tables (250cm long) and the top table (350cm) long were laid with hessian table runners that were cut and then edged with miles and miles of lace. The backdrop was finished in situ beautifully frame the couple for their first meal as Mr & Mrs 🥰🥰🥰

Seating plan made from a charity shop find picture frame, jute string and mini pegs. The groom is a massive Aston Villa fan and so tables were named after his favourite players!

Absolutely loved making this wedding itinerary sign from a good old pallet!
My Silhouette machine did me proud again allowing me to add beautiful lettering in matte white vinyl.

Chalkboard signs for Mr & Mrs Sutherland's wedding. Everyone found the venue and their drink! 🍸🍺
Very grateful for my Cameo plus machine by .inc - made cutting the white vinyl a cinch and saved my wrist from trying to have neat and steady handwriting!

Continuing the flower theme, I made corsages for the mothers of the bride and groom, both modelling them beautifully here. The mother of the bride opted for a hat corsage that was slightly larger than the traditional lapel corsage worn by the groom's mother.

The last few months have seen me being busy making items for my beautiful friends' wedding!
First up, bouquets for both the bride and her bridesmaids, made with artificial flowers in a mixture of dusky pink peonies, gypsophilia (baby's breath) and eucalyptus leaves, finished with a ballerina style tie in matching dusky pink ribbon. More pics and makes to follow.

Old to new: vintage Tansad machinists chair. Stripped to its bare bones with new foam, batting and faux leather, metalwork sanded and resprayed.
