FAQ Friday ❓

β€œDo I need to replace my underlay with my new carpet?”

Short answer… Yes! πŸ‘‡

Good underlay helps your carpet feel softer, last longer, and even improves insulation - both heat and sound!

It’s incredibly important when it comes to getting the longest life out of your investment, you wouldn’t buy a new car and then reuse your 10 year old tyres would you?

Additions like underlay is something we’ll always guide you on in store or as part of our free measure and estimation service 😊

If you’re tackling a spring clean, don’t forget your floors! After a long winter, carpets and hard flooring can hold onto dust, dirt and everyday wear.

Here are a few quick wins to bring your floors back to life:
🧼 Deep clean carpets to lift hidden dirt - we’d recommend getting a professional in for this!
πŸͺ΅ Refresh hard flooring with a mop and polish - brands like Amtico sell some specific products for giving your LVT a new lease of life.
🧹 Clear out old rugs and replace with something lighter and brighter - we’ve got lots of new rugs in stock right now!
🌿 Add a fresh new flooring look for the season ahead - book us to visit your home for a free estimate!

A clean floor can completely transform your home β€” brighter, fresher and ready for spring living 🌼
