Our client matched up a beautiful blue grey perfectly to the paintwork to bring out the natural texture and warmth of the fabric. In their south facing kitchen and dining area the light will gently filter through.. in preparation for sunnier days ahead! 🩵

Apex windows are an opportunity to make the most of dramatic Italian Strung curtains. And 5m tall curtains are a... fun challenge :)

Italian Stringing refers to the sophisticated window treatments that emerged in Italy during the Renaissance and Neoclassical periods, where elaborate brocades, silks and velvets were used to create grand, theatrical styles.

Precise measurements and calculations are needed to achieve the correct angles and length throughout 🤓 Then, like stage curtains, a series of small rings are stitched through all layers at the back and drawn up with pull cords for a striking effect.

Our lovely clients here went for a modern, drapey linen-look and were aiming for maximum light into the room - but different draping styles can also be designed for ultimate extravagance.
