Another unexpectedly busy day in the FOUND antiques barn here in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Thank you again to everybody who visited today – so many new faces and so many lovely people.
In between visits, I carried on with the Great Barn Reorganisation. There’s a lot of new stock – including this beautiful 19thC mahogany buffet and pair of fully restored blue & white Chinoiserie lamps and, once I closed the doors this evening, concentrated on working out how everything is going to fit together in the new much bigger space
I am now getting quite excited for our big relaunch open house event over Halloween weekend - mark your diaries for the 30/31 October & 01 November.
In the interim, I’m going to be in Switzerland from tomorrow until we reopen for appointments on Wednesday 28 October. So, if you’ve had your eye on anything and would like it delivered before I return, I will be packing my last parcels first thing tomorrow (Monday) morning and dropping them all off at 1030am on my way to the airport.
Of course, I will still be posting new stock online during my absence, all sold items to be posted when I return.
