I love mixed media Hello and Welcome,

I am so excited to finally be here. Making my passion for colour and creativity my everyday has been a dream of mine for so long.

So, a little about me and how I got here (not literally as we all know how that works)........

I have been creating for as long as I can remember, knitting, sewing and working with pens and paper from a young girl, so a VERY long time. I then got into card making when I was pregnant with my son 22 years ago,my mum had ordered some card making bits from the tv that she hadn't used so she gave them

to me to help with the boredom of being home pre baby. That lead to me starting and teaching at card making clubs and selling at various craft fairs with my best crafty buddy Kay ( I still feel a bit guilty for getting her into card making as she could probably have the canal boat she has always craved if she hadn't bought so much craft product over the years, but she promises me she's ok with it..) Then I had my first adventure with mixed media about 10 years ago, painting canvases with acrylic paints, adding dimension with glass beads, sands and metallics. I was lucky enough to gain a few commssion and sales from a few art events but it was always a part time hobby. As a single mum of three, I had to put the art on the back burner while life took over and I stuck with "proper paid work" although the love of craft didn't disappear. I had my 50th birthday last year and not long after that my health took a down turn and has been on and off since. So I have decided life is too short to fill your day with things that dont make you happy. The thing that makes me happy is creating and learning new techniques and sharing the joys of being creative. I hope you will find some inspiration on my site and that you will find suppplies at a great price, whether it is the everyday basics that we all need, or exciting new products to spark your creativity. So get stuck in, have fun and ....

Pulling out lots of items for today's and tomorrow's Live Sales. The Finnabair and Prima moulds are my own and have been used (there may be some bits of resin still on them) and will be £7.00 each. I have decanted into smaller pots some of the items, like embossing powder and glitters, so I have more than 1 for sale. The little pots start from a £1.00 each.

Come grab some bargains during my Facebook Live Sales with prices starting as low as 50p. The first Live Sale is tomorrow, Saturday 27th June starting at 5:00 pm.
I will be back for another Live Sale on Sunday 28th June, at the earlier starting time of 3:00 pm
Items from my own stash will be included in the Sales as they are not really suitable for miniature making.
In case you missed my posts yesterday check out my videos if you are interested in papers. I will have several boxes of papers for sale which are separate from the Live Sales this weekend.

Time is going quick, it is not long till the end of the month and the final, final Live Sales for I love mixed media.
Saturday's sale will start at 5:00 pm and Sunday's sale at 3:00 pm. Please note in your calender/diary that each Sale Live will start at different times.
Also keep an eye out for further posts and there will be a reminder nearer the weekend. Hope to see you next weekend x
