I absolutely love receiving photographs from my couples. There’s something so lovely about seeing their day through their eyes and reliving all those little floral details that we poured so much love into.

As I shared in my last post, my lovely bride’s mum had spent the summer quietly growing her own zinnias and cosmos to incorporate into her daughter’s wedding flowers. 🌸

It’s these little personal touches that not everyone will notice, but the people who matter most absolutely will — and I think that’s what makes them so special.

We added Hesper’s beautiful zinnias to all of the buttonholes, brides bouquet, pedestals and bud vases throughout the venue. It made me smile every time I spotted one, so I can only imagine what it meant to Joely and Alex to see them woven throughout their day.

Joely also asked for every buttonhole to be different, much like her bridesmaids’ bouquets, so we created slightly different versions for each of them.

With the bridesmaids and groomsmen all wearing different dresses and suits, it felt only right that their flowers should be just as individual — little details chosen to complement each person and their outfit.

Because sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference. 🌸

For Joely 🌸

Joely came to me with such a clear vision of what she wanted, and I absolutely loved bringing it to life.

She and her mum had grown zinnias and cosmos in their garden, so naturally these had to be at the heart of her flowers. Alongside them came dahlias and also a request for a scented flower so naturally scented stocks made an appearance. The colour palette was bold, bright and beautiful — and that’s exactly how it turned out.

Joely also wanted British-grown flowers wherever possible, so of course I headed straight to the wonderful Penny Dommett. She has so lovingly (and very patiently!) grown some of the most beautiful flowers you could ever wish to see.

And what a summer it has been for our growers. The heat has certainly not been for the faint-hearted, but Penny being Penny, with those magic fingers of hers, delivered the goods. I never doubted her for a second.

Every flower was carefully chosen — the colours, textures and shapes all working together perfectly — and the end result was just stunning.

A wedding full of personality, colour and flowers that felt completely and utterly Joely.

What a weekend! ✨

The lovely H&H said “I do” at The Barn At Berkeley, surrounded by the most beautiful setting — and with the weather completely on their side, it really was a day to remember.

Over a year in the making, this wedding was always going to be a special one. The brief included one very important request: purple had to make an appearance in the bridal bouquet and throughout the flowers.

We paired those beautiful purple tones with soft ivory blends, creating a balance that felt romantic, elegant and completely natural to the setting.

Scented stocks, roses, dahlias, freesias and more came together to create flowers full of movement, texture and that gorgeous, romantic feel.

A beautiful couple, a beautiful setting and flowers that I absolutely loved creating. 🤍
