DesignBeau Studio - York Interior Designer

✨ COMING SOON… DesignBeau Studio Appointments! ✨

Interior design should be FUN! 🤍 And honestly, I want to bring a little bit of that magic back.

We’ve all spent hours scrolling Pinterest, saving inspiration and looking at beautiful interiors online (and now AI-generated spaces 😂), but there’s nothing quite like seeing, touching and experiencing materials in real life.

From gorgeous flooring and carpets to fabrics, wallpapers, cabinet hardware, brass finishes and all those little details that make a house feel like your home — I want you to be able to explore it all, properly.

My studio is being created for exactly that reason. A space where we can sit down together, talk through your ideas, play with samples, build mood boards and bring your vision to life.

Whether you’re renovating, redecorating, furnishing a new home or simply need a little professional guidance, you’ll be able to book a consultation and explore the possibilities with me.

No overwhelming Pinterest boards. No guessing how that fabric or finish will look in real life. Just real materials, real conversations and real-life interior design. ✨

📍 Based in York, the DesignBeau Studio is getting ready to welcome you!

Appointments coming soon… 👀

Would you love to come into the studio and choose finishes for your home with an interior designer? Tell me below! 👇

And if you’re planning a project in York or the surrounding areas, send me a DM ❤️ I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

It’s all in the details. ✨

Door handles, cabinet hardware and the perfect metallic finish can completely transform a space. From timeless brass and brushed bronze to contemporary nickel and statement finishes, these are the details that bring a design together.

At DesignBeau, we love exploring the finer details — layering premium metals, textures and finishes to create interiors that feel considered, bespoke and beautifully individual.

Our samples allow clients to see, touch and compare finishes, helping us build mood boards and material palettes that bring the whole vision to life.

Because luxury isn’t just about the big decisions. It’s about getting every detail right. 🤍

Modern meets traditional. Bespoke meets eclectic. ✨

The magic happens when you mix the unexpected. Contemporary finishes paired with traditional details, contrasting textures, timeless materials and individual pieces that tell a story.

It’s about stepping away from the predictable, breaking the rules a little and creating something that feels entirely unique to you.

At DesignBeau, I believe the most interesting interiors aren’t confined to one style. They’re layered, collected and full of character — blending old with new to create spaces that feel considered, personal and effortlessly eclectic.

Because truly bespoke design isn’t about following a trend. It’s about creating something that couldn’t belong to anyone else. 🤍

Contract fabrics, but make it residential. ✨

Who says fabrics designed for high-traffic commercial spaces can’t have a place in the home?

Contract fabrics offer a beautiful balance of style, durability and practicality, making them an excellent choice for busy family homes, upholstered furniture and everyday living.

From elegant textures to timeless patterns, you don’t have to compromise on aesthetics to choose a fabric that works hard behind the scenes.

At DesignBeau, it’s all about creating interiors that look beautiful and work for real life. 🤍

Golden hour + autumn light 🍂

Our York townhouse project looking gorgeous in that late afternoon glow.

And those floor-to-ceiling cotton wave drapes… 🤎 I’ll never tire of beautiful light, soft textures and a good pair of curtains.

Are you a fan of floor-to-ceiling drapes? Tell me — would you go for this look in your own home? 👇

OK… I actually did it 😂

Yesterday I went LIVE and finally showed you something I made YEARS ago and then completely abandoned…

My DesignBeau Home Improvement Planner 👀

I’ve got it out again and I want to know if it’s actually worth bringing back.

I talked through it on the Live and I’d LOVE your opinion on what you think it needs, what you’d change and whether you’d actually use it.

🎥 The replay is now on my YouTube 👇

Go have a nosy and tell me what you think!

Okay… I’ve got a confession. 👀

This is my dirty little secret…

I created a DesignBeau Home Improvement Planner about THREE YEARS AGO.

And then?

…I literally put it on a shelf and forgot about it. 😂

I’ve never properly launched it. Never really told anyone about it. Just quietly sitting there like the abandoned child of DesignBeau.

So today I dug it back out.

And now I’m thinking… was I onto something?

Would you actually use a planner like this if you were renovating or improving your home?

I’m going to have a proper look through it and maybe, just maybe, finally do something with it.

Should I bring this little secret out into the world? 👀

The studio era has officially begun. 👀

The pretty bit is easy to show.

The real bit? That’s what happens behind the scenes.

The sourcing. The samples. The spreadsheets. The decisions. The mistakes. The wins. The panic. The endless cups of tea. 😂

Basically… the sh&t behind the chic.

And I’m taking you along for all of it.
