There’s just something about the rhythm of the stitches that makes it so relaxing to crochet — the kind you can totally lose yourself in. And don’t even get me started on the colour possibilities 🌈

Granny squares, but make it boat life 🌊🧶✨

These crochet curtains are one of my favourite makes — colourful, cosy, and catching the light in the dreamiest way while out on the water. Every little square feels like a piece of calm stitched together 💛

With spring just around the corner and brighter days coming, it feels like the perfect time to bring all the colour back in. I have been back over to the boat for some solo adventures and started the spring cleaning. It feels fabulous 🌸☀️

Brighter days, brighter stitches 🌈✨

My Hexi Cardigan in all the bold, happy colours feels just right as we head into longer days and lighter evenings. The clocks are about to change, the spring equinox is almost here, and I am SO ready for sunshine, fresh starts, and crochet projects that match the mood 🌸🧶

Today is International Women’s Day and it’s got me thinking about the women who taught me that making something with your hands can be powerful. 🧶✨

Last year I designed my Granny Square Curtain for our house after years of having all the crochet curtains at the boat the house was ready for these epic squares – and like so many crochet projects, it’s more than just yarn. Every square reminds me of the therapeutic power that generations of women have passed down, skills, creativity, patience, and the belief that we can make something beautiful from a simple ball of yarn.

Crochet has also connected me with so many incredible women in this amazing community. Through yarn, patterns, and shared projects, I’ve met makers who inspire me every day.

I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by strong women – in my life and in this creative community. Women who support each other, lift each other up, and celebrate every finished square and every new idea.

Here’s to strong women, colourful yarn, and granny squares that hold stories. 💜

Half term in beautiful Budapest 🇭🇺✨

A week of river views, twinkling lights, too much good food, and making memories with my favourite people 🤍 Husband, my girl, and her bestie – the dream little travel team.

Boat rides on the Danube, evening strolls, giggles in cafés, and that feeling of just being together with nowhere else to be.

It’s been a while… and I feel like I start every post like that lately 😅

I’ve been quietly recovering from arm surgery and embracing a slower start to the year. In my head, the year doesn’t really begin until spring anyway 🌷 Right now still feels like rest season.

I’ve been enjoying trying to rebuild some strength with pilates, yoga… even spin?! Who even am I 😂

Crochet has been a little quieter than usual, but the ideas are flowing and the plans are BIG. I’ve absolutely loved packing up the subscription boxes — there’s something so special about sending a surprise parcel full of yarny joy out into the world 💌🧶These stitch cards were part of the December box.

We’ve got a Budapest trip booked for half term and I’m fully manifesting sunshine by the time we’re home ☀️

Slow start. Soft season. Big plans coming. 💕.
