Saitia Villette Exterior Lighting - Reflections

Saitia Villette is a boutique complex of villas resting in an olive grove valley in Tsoukalades, Lefkada. Each villa features balconies, open and covered terraces, outdoor dining and a private swimming pool.

The brief required low level lighting for all exterior parking, circulation and lounge areas with minimal accent lighting on building facade elements and on selective olive trees along the main pedestrian path.

Most lighting is aimed downward and any upward lighting is contained within the architectural fabric of the buildings. The project’s remote location is ideal for stargazing with the telescope so the preservation of the night sky was a key client requirement.

Less is more for the exterior lighting or Saitia Villette. Selective, almost theatrically illuminated architectural and the landscape features create a unique night time hospitality experience.

Happy to share photos of the BMW Sfakianakis event hosted for the i7 BMW model together with two Sean Henry statues loaned by Rarity Gallery.

The installation took place inside four industrial shipping containers joined together, so the restricted height was a challenge. The interior and lighting concepts were designed together from the start as materials, finishes and lighting are closely linked.

The design team worked with the client’s vision for a sleek, elegant exhibition space that promotes both the car and the art. The diverse exhibits required different lighting approach and light sources.

The black mirror stretch ceiling and the backlit partition wall were key features that contributed to the interior space and were part of the visitor experience.

Special thanks to our client Myranda Sfakianaki, BMW Sfakianakis for being the driving force of this project, to NCMP architects for their vision and collaboration, to Katerina Kamprani for the well tailored graphics and to the installation team for working around the clock.

Rachi - Fly Me Bar

Excited to share photos of the Fly Me bar and lounge at Rachi in Exanthia, Lefkada. Majestic views, lovely atmosphere and great cocktails.

The outdoor lounge is becoming a sunset and stargazing destination. Lighting is discreet, kept at low level and applied selectively where needed to maintain views outwards and upwards!

All linear lighting and adjustable spots are integrated into the hardscape, landscape elements and vegetation. The aim is a relaxing outdoor lounge where lighting is part of the night time experience.
