Not sure what to do with the calendula you’re growing at home? 🌼
-
Try using the petals to finish a cake. Add them after frosting, along with a little lemon zest, and you have a cake topped with something you grew yourself.
-
Swipe for the ingredients and steps. Use only petals from edible, pesticide-free calendula.

A bushy Tiny Tim tomato does not always need pruning. Before reaching for the scissors, look inside the plant. 🍅
-
Can air still move between the branches? Are the flowers getting enough light? Are any leaves yellow, damaged, or touching the water?
-
If the plant looks healthy and has enough space, let it grow. If the center is too crowded, remove only the leaves causing the problem. Tiny Tim can produce tomatoes on its side shoots, so cutting every sucker may also remove future fruit. 🌱

“Day 120 (before and after harvesting) Butter Crunch and Oak leaf lettuce. The third photo shows what my plants looks like after harvesting, and it takes about 6 days to fill in again. New garden of oak leaf lettuce day 22, will be harvesting leaves in a week. Conductivity maintained between 1400-1800 and water PH corrected.”

Growing Holy Basil Indoors 🌿
-
Holy basil may be ready to harvest in about 60–90 days. Keep it at 20–30°C, give it 10–14 hours of full-spectrum light each day, and maintain a pH of 5.5–6.5 with a moderate nutrient solution.
-
When the plant reaches about 15 cm, pinch the top to encourage branching. Keep the reservoir clean and well oxygenated to help prevent root rot, and harvest leaves before flowering for the best aroma.
