The illustrations on this altar of abundance are very special to me – created for my "tribe" and our final module in the 4-year body psychotherapy education! 🥰

The colorful cover design and the seven black-and-white chapter illustrations were made for our book – a collection of our personal stories – "Tales from the Inside."
My idea was for the chapter illustrations to follow the journey from #1 Facing the Inner Mountains to #7 Finding Our Way Back Home, with the cover illustration weaving it all together.
The book speaks of and the illustrations show this very human, very unifying and relational journey from pain to love 🧶

Ilustracije na oltaru za mene su jako posebne – nastale su za moje „pleme" i naš završni modul u četverogodišnjoj edukaciji iz tjelesne psihoterapije! 🥰

Šarena naslovnica i sedam crno-bijelih ilustracija za poglavlja rađene su za našu knjigu – zbirku osobnih priča – „Priče iznutra.”
Moja je ideja bila da ilustracije prate naše putovanje kroz poglavlja od " #1 Suočavanje s unutarnjim planinama" do " #7 Povratak kući", a da ih naslovnica sve poveže i splete u jednu cjelinu.🪡
Knjiga priča a slike ilustriraju jedno vrlo ljudsko, univerzalno i povezujuće putovanje od boli do ljubavi🧶

Last weekend I was invited to create a painting for a "Rhythm of the Heart workshop", facilitated and led so beautifully by Silvija Tomcik

What a warm delight it was, to return to the dance floor, to the local Zagreb tribe, to be met with dancing feet and open hearts, see old friends from lifetimes ago and meet new kind souls..

With the painting, this song came to me, so I will post it here, still raw, unedited and fresh:

A heart blossoms when it's held
and withers when not,
This heart of mine,
kind tender soft,
Nestled in the cage of my ribs
that became its nest
softest warmest
guarded by my flesh, kept warm by the bones
nourished with blood
comforted with breath
like a small bird by my side safely kept.
A heart that is felt,
A heart that is held
blossoms with powers
transforming pain into life
transforming pain into flowers

💮"Cycles" workshop is over, I took some time to land and integrate over the last few days and finally today I uploaded photos of all the altars/installations. I would love to hear what you think ✨

🌸"Cycles" is a 5-day conscious movement workshop in which each day is a journey through one of the 5 stages of life:
👶🏻birth,
🛴🌱childhood
🔥 🌹adolescence
👩🏻🧔🏻adulthood
🧓🏻🥀old age

🌸Concept, daily installations and the paintings were created by me, for the workshop. My idea was to have 2 large scale paintings on the opposite sides of this beautiful hall to hold the space and then create daily elemental installations, following the wheel of the elements and the cycles of life from seed to withering flowers

This Cycles workshop was led by 5Rhythms with Tammy Burstein and organised in Ljubljana by Martina Motl.
