A huge thank you to everyone who came to Midlands Fibre Festival yesterday! It was such a great day, and so many of you stopped by my stand! I loved catching up with familiar faces and meeting lots of new customers too.

Many thanks to the organizers, it was such a fun and timely event, I can’t wait for the next one!

I brought what felt like endless amounts of yarn and notions with me, but somehow managed to sell out of quite a few things by the end of the day! Now I’m spending my morning figuring out what’s left, and then it’s back to dyeing to get everything stocked up again!

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it to Midlands Fibre Festival in Athlone tomorrow!

I’m bringing lots of hand-dyed yarn in all weights, including some fun bases like Merino/Mohair Bouclé, Zebra Sock, Yak blends and plenty more! I’ll also have a brand new collection of stitch markers, Christmas mystery boxes, the full range of stitch stoppers, LYKKE needles and lots of other knitting accessories. Come say hello at Stand 35!

Is it me or does this Non-Superwash Merino look extra plump and satisfying in a skein? Just look at that twist and those rounded, bouncy strands!

It’s wonderfully soft, with a substantial feel and gorgeous stitch definition. Perfect for cosy sweaters, textured knits and cables that really stand out!

My is coming along, and I absolutely love how cosy it’s turning out! I’m knitting with two strands of Wensleydale and one strand of kid mohair, all dyed together in the same colourway. The combination gives the fabric such beautiful texture and depth!

It feels soft and warm, but with a bit of structure and a really satisfying weight to it. I think this is going to be one of those sweaters I’ll want to live in all winter!

Lots of new sock yarn fresh from the dye pots! I’ve been dyeing some new autumnal colourways on Single Ply Fine Merino, BFL High Twist Sock and Zebra Sock, and I love how differently each base takes the dye.

All those rich, moody autumn shades just in time for cosy knitting season!

I finally photographed my sweater! I knitted this one in Yak Silk Singles, a fi*****ng weight yarn, but went up to 3.75 mm needles to give the fabric plenty of drape.

I really like what the looser gauge does with this yarn. The silk and yak make the fabric fluid and soft, while the slightly open gauge lets all of that texture in the pattern show without making the sweater feel heavy!

New colourways! I dyed these a few weeks ago on two very different bases: Merino/Linen Single Ply and Merino/Mohair Bouclé. The Merino/Linen is all about speckles, this base takes them so well and I love how much depth they create!

The Bouclé gives the colours a completely different look with all that texture. Both bases and the new colourways are already on the website!

I wanted to show off my current knitting organizer setup! I use Carita from that I purchased myself, that system lets you choose different pages separately, so you can put together exactly the combination that works for your knitting tools.

I personally was struggling with storing circular needles and all those extra cables, and I’m very happy with how it turned out now. Everything has its place, but I can still change or add pages whenever I need to! I like those little clips that keep even the longest circulars in place.

I’ve been accused today of not posting my knitting enough (looking at you, ), so here is a meditative loop of me knitting my !

It’s surprisingly hard to knit on camera! I get self-conscious so I suddenly forget how to knit and start dropping stitches.
