A D A little unboxing of our new bioethanol fireplace.

It’s such a beautiful piece, and I love that it fits just as much as a design object as it does a fireplace.

(It’s designed for indoors, but because it’s freestanding and easy to move around, we’ve been bringing it outside on these gorgeous dry evenings.) It’s been the perfect addition for those last couple of hours outdoors, when it starts to get a bit cooler.

Thank you, Le Feu, for this lovely collaboration. I have a feeling it’s going to follow us through the seasons and get a lot of use all year round.

When choosing the finishes for this home, I had no idea how much they would shape the way I feel living in it.

The cane doors. The linen curtains. Lime paint. Microcement.

Each one brings something different, but together they’ve helped me create a home that feels calm, grounding, and truly like my safe place.

Looking back, these are the decisions I’m most grateful I made.

AD If like us you have a large garden, you mightknow how hard it is to find a 50m hose that’s actually practical and beautiful at the same time.

We were using a 50m hose without a trolley before and honestly, watering the plants was so painful.
This one from is incredibly sturdy, the quality is amazing, and the trolley is genuinely one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.

Functional, aesthetic, and finally making watering the garden “nearly” effortless…
