A little appreciation post for Fiona 💛

A few weeks ago, we said goodbye to Fiona as she finished up with us in our Centre Park Road store after 9 wonderful years.

Over the years, Fiona helped so many customers find the right colours for their homes - always with plenty of knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement along the way. A true colour guru, and a familiar face to many who called into the store for advice and inspiration 🎨

She brought so much to the team and is hugely missed by all of us here (and by plenty of customers too!).

Thanks for everything, Fiona - for all the colour advice, the chats, and the laughs over the years. Wishing you nothing but the very best in your next excirting chapter 💚

A massive congratulations to Sean, the winner of *Supergarden 2026* 🏆🌿 Not only did Sean take home the title, he’s also the youngest contestant ever to win the competition 👏

His contemporary garden design tackled a challenging high concrete wall head-on, using elevated spaces and a bold palette of greens and black to create a garden full of depth, structure, and personality. It’s a brilliant example of how colour can completely transform an outdoor space - even the trickiest of ones.

👉 Top tip: Darker shades and layered green tones are a great way to soften harsh boundaries in the garden, helping walls and fences blend into the planting rather than dominate the space.
