We were delighted to present a cheque to Raheen Hospital Support Group. We raised a whopping €6550 at our Christmas Market on Sunday November 10th. We are eternally grateful to all who supported us on our first market and we would love for this to become an annual Event.

A huge thank you to all who visited us today, those who provided sponsorship and donated generously to our raffle and our class members who dedicated time and effort making crafts and also baking. The community support and spirit is truly alive in east Clare. We will provide an update in the coming days on the amount that has been raised for Raheen Hospital.

East Clare Women’s Shed - Previously known as Feakle Craft Class was founded in 1995 by Marian Kelly.

Meeting Wednesday nights in Feakle community centre our members travel from across East Clare.

We are proud to host our first Christmas market on November 10th in Feakle community centre where all proceeds will go to Raheen Community Hospital in advance of the festive period.

Our members are busy behind the scenes making their wares in advance so stay tuned for some photos of what we will be selling on the day.
