Today I am pleased to introduce you to another Árann family of Makers - Aran Gallery & Ropeworks!!! Mary & Locko Quinn. Mary is the artist behind both the paintings and photography that evoke the beauty of the Aran Islands. Locko is the ‘Ropeworks’ half of the equation. He creates intricate patterns with knotted ropes to make impressive walking sticks and decorative items for the home.

Today as a market organiser, I get to introduce... myself! :)
Originally from Paris, Inis Mór has been my home for the last six years. I love spending my free time creating handcrafted jewellery and Celtic Designs.

I look forward to meeting everyone who comes along to Aran Art Mart this Saturday.

Today I am happy to introduce AranSheep.ie !!!
Here is just one of the lovely Galway sheep proudly raised in the fields of Árann by Máirtín Ó Flaithearta, who takes great pride in the heritage and quality of the wool they produce. Máirtín will be selling spun wool from his sheep and sweaters and other knitwear made from the wool. Máirtín will be with us at our next Saturday Market, 2nd July, so stop and say hello!!

Lia Árann is an island owned family run craft shop on Inis Mór featuring Irish made products and unique gifts. They proudly design and produce their very own Celtic village on a range of T-shirts. They are screen printed on 100% organic cotton and bear the Fair Wear label, which ensures garment industry employees are working in safe, dignified and properly paid employment.
