This genuinely made me stop and think… 🤔🪨
This past week I received an enquiry for a personalised pebble art frame through an Instagram voice note.
I replied with a quick overview of what I thought I could create and how I would approach the idea.
Then she sent me a screenshot…
She had asked ChatGPT to create an image based on what she had in mind.
And honestly… the ideas were almost exactly the same! 😳
Now here's the really interesting part…
She had asked ChatGPT for the image BEFORE I had even replied to her with my ideas.
So I hadn't seen the AI image.
She hadn't seen my ideas.
And yet, when we put the two side by side, the similarities were pretty incredible!

It got me thinking…
I'm absolutely not anti-AI. ChatGPT, Gemini and other tools can be brilliant. They can help us find information, spark ideas, get started when we're stuck and even give us a little reassurance. But have we become so quick to ask AI for the answer that we're sometimes forgetting to trust our own ideas and instincts?
As a small business owner and artist, I think that's something I'm becoming more conscious of.
Sometimes the first idea that pops into your head might actually be a pretty good one. ❤️
And in this case… it turns out my brain and ChatGPT were thinking along exactly the same lines! 😂
So I'm curious…
Do you use AI to help with ideas and decisions, or do you still trust your own instincts first?
I really want to hear what you think!
