An entrance should feel like a warm welcome, but my client felt hers was cold and unfinished.

This large hallway is divided into three sections, and the three existing large furniture pieces weren’t bringing the space together. When I visited, I could feel what she meant — it lacked warmth, and there was a noticeable echo.

Our design brings those three areas together through layering: runner rugs for softness underfoot, gentle lighting from lamps and wall lamps, greenery, carefully selected furniture and artwork, and simple decorative touches.

The design vision has already elevated how the space feels, creating a more welcoming entrance with a sense of connection throughout. My client is excited to get started on her project, and I can’t wait to see it come to life!

✨ The Reveal | A Home Office Transformation ✨

Who says a small space can't feel like a five star suite? Designed to prove that functionality and refinement can absolutely coexist. 🤎

Walnut built-ins to hide the clutter · Carrara marble to inspire the work · Emerald velvet for that little bit of drama · And floor-length linen drapery to soften it all.

Small footprint. Big impact. This is what happens when every inch has intention.

Hallways can be one of the trickiest spaces to style.

They need to be practical, but they are also the first feeling of home, the space that welcomes you in and sets the tone for everything that follows.

This is a little sample of how The Room Refresh could work for a hallway.

A mirror, runner, lighting, artwork and a few carefully chosen styling pieces can help a hallway feel warmer, more finished and more intentional.

If your hallway feels cold, cluttered or unfinished, this could be the perfect place to begin.

DM HALLWAY and I’ll send you the Room Refresh details.

Kitchen Moodboard | Warm, classic & luxurious

This kitchen mood board is all about creating a space that feels timeless, elegant and full of warmth.

The beautiful Always Orchid panel brings softness and depth, while warm walnut adds richness and character. Brushed brass introduces a touch of luxury, balanced by the lightness of beige marble, fluted glass and soft bouclé texture.

This is a scheme designed for someone who wants their kitchen to feel both classic and elevated, while still warm and inviting for everyday living.

Would you use this palette in your home? ✨

Hallways are often the first feeling of home, but they can be so tricky to get right, narrow spaces, awkward lighting, shoes, coats, doors, and not knowing how to make them feel warm and welcoming.

Does your hallway feel finished, or is it one of those spaces you keep meaning to sort? 🌿
