🏡 Housing Aid for Older People Scheme (HOPS)
Are you aged 66 or over and need essential home repairs?
The Housing Aid for Older People Scheme can help you stay safe and comfortable in your own home.
Support is available for:

Roof or structural repairs
Heating system upgrades (no grants for new oil/gas boilers)
Electrical rewiring
Repair or replacement of windows and doors

Grant amount:
Up to €10,700, means‑tested, with up to 100% of approved costs covered.
📌 No Occupational Therapist report required.
Apply through Louth County Council to help you continue living safely in your home.
Important: Do not start any works until written approval is issued.
