Fabulous glass painting done by the amazing group in on Monday’s before they closed for their summer break 👏👏🎨🎨🥰🥰.

I have seen first hand how some people were uncertain and unsure about glass painting and equally unsure about their own artistic abilities .
But that soon changed as they learned how to paint onto glass.

Their confidence flourished, their imagination’s glowing and their creativity poured from week to week 🌺🎨🦋

Learning something new can be a little daunting, but choosing a Beginner Friendly course is a step in the right direction 👏👏🎨🎨🦋🌺✨

I am delighted to have been selected as one of four creative artists for TAP- a collaborative Teacher Artist Partnership initiative bringing together teachers, students and artists to enhance learning in primary and special schools.

TAP collaborations give students the opportunity to explore and communicate ideas igniting their curiosity and creativity in many different forms.

TAP supports students in extending their knowledge and learning while simultaneously nurturing their imaginations. This dynamic interaction not only enhances the educational experience but also empowers students to develop their ideas providing them with new perspectives and ways of thinking , planning, designing and exploring creativity.

I am midway through the course and I am hoping to take up a residency with a primary school to help develop and nurture the imaginations of young minds and bring to life their interests and stories in many different forms of creativity within the school setting.

Glass painting workshops are designed to be beginner-friendly and accessible to everyone.

You don’t need any experience and you don’t need to be “good at art” to enjoy the process.

In this video you can see that I use clear glass. Clear glass allows us to use design templates placed inside or behind the glass.

Then using an outliner we can sketch the design onto the glass surface.
The outliner helps define the design and later holds the paint in place 🎨🌺✨.

You’ll be guided step by step through out the workshop in a relaxed, fun, supportive environment.

These workshops are perfect for you if
•you’re a complete beginner,
•You’d like a creative social and fun experience,
•You’re interested in something mindful and relaxing.

If you would like to find out more information please follow the link in my bio to my latest blog and if you would like to be kept up to date please add your email to our newsletter link.
