Did I ever show you the time I totally messed up mixing the resin. To this day I still don’t know did I pour 100% hardner or 100% resin. What ever the case they were for the bin only. An expensive lesson not to day dream 🙈

Resin is a science and you can’t wing it and hope for the best. That’s why I will be launching online masterclasses coming very soon. I’ve been mastering my trade for over 25 years and now it’s time to nurture the next generation of resin pourer’s

Is’nt the weather nasty this evening! May as well just catch up on making stock!

In the age of AI created content you may think that it only takes one resin pour to make an Ocean inspired resin coasters.

But you’d be very wrong, there are in fact at least 3 pours and a few other stages along the way. Like everything scientific (and resin is science) there is a process to everything I do.

But I’m quietly working away behind the scenes to bring you something special

Have you ever wanted to create something for yourself by yourself?

Guess you’re going to have to stay tuned to see what I’m planning!!

Meant to post before today but been a bit under the weather since the ploughing with a cold & chest infection.

A huge thank you to all who called to the pavilion last week at National Ploughing. It was great to see old faces, repeat customers and of course plenty of new ones. We were so so lucky with the weather as we all know what the ploughing is like when it rains!

Thank you as well must go to leooffaly Offaly County Council Offaly Tourism for such a well run marquee and for keeping up in coffee & scones.

As we hit the last quarter of the year, it’s now full steam ahead with Christmas prep as Christmas seems to start earlier and earlier each year and as a small business, being organised is key or it just descends into chaos 🤣

And just like that we’ve made it to day 3

We’ve had a ball selling, meeting & greeting people, seeing repeat customers and making new friends.

Stocks are getting a bit low but there is still plenty of wood & Ocean inspired lovliness to go around!

However the resin kits were a huge hit and there’s only a few left and when they’re gone, they’re gone so grab one of the last few quickly!

I got quite a few DM’s over the last few days asking where are we as they couldn’t find the stand so - WE ARE NOT IN THE RETAIL HUB AREA but amongst the government marquees in the marquee block 4, row 8, stand 152

Day 1 is here and we’re finally set up. Managed to forget the sign but all sorted now!

Come say hi in pavilion, block 4 row 8 stand 152

If you’re looking for handmade home décor that doesn’t look like everyone else’s… you’ve found the right place. 🌊
Maybe you love beautiful interiors, natural materials and the colours of the coast.
But you don’t want your home filled with mass-produced pieces that could belong to anyone.
You want something different.
Something with character.
Something handmade.
Something that makes you stop and look.
That’s why I create ocean-inspired resin art and handcrafted wood & resin pieces in Ireland, inspired by the colours, movement and tranquillity of the Atlantic coast. 🌊
I’m Fiona, an Irish resin artist and woodworker based in Co. Offaly, creating one of a kind pieces for people who appreciate handmade Irish craftsmanship, natural materials and beautiful interiors with personality.
I work with Irish hardwoods and resin to create pieces that are both beautiful and useful — from handcrafted cheese and charcuterie boards and serving boards to resin artwork, clocks and unique home accessories.
And there’s something important behind every piece I make.
I don’t want to create things that simply fill a space.
I want to create pieces that make you feel something.
A reminder of the sea.
A favourite place.
A beautiful memory.
Or simply that wonderful feeling of being beside the Atlantic. 💙
Because your home should feel like you.
Not like a showroom.
Not like everyone else’s.
And certainly not mass-produced.
Every piece I make is created by hand, here in Ireland, and no two are ever exactly the same.
So if you’re drawn to:
🌊 Ocean-inspired interiors
🌿 Natural Irish hardwood
🎨 Original resin art
🇮🇪 Handmade in Ireland
🏡 Unique home décor
✨ Functional art with a story
🌊 The colours and tranquillity of the Atlantic
…then welcome. You’re my kind of person.
Follow Fiona Scott Resin Artist and come behind the scenes of my studio, where Irish wood, resin, colour and a little bit of ocean magic come together.
If you believe your home should tell your story rather than follow a trend, I think you’re going to like it here. 🤍
