Such a beauty!!! A striking Cornish Arts & Crafts fireside box possibly by J&F Pool, crafted in richly patinated hammered copper. The sloping lid is adorned with stylised repoussé decoration centred around a stunning turquoise heart motif. Raised on simple cast iron supports, the piece combines honest craftsmanship with decorative presence, very much in keeping with the Arts & Crafts ethos.

This makes getting coal for Christmas rather palatable 😅
