After looking back at everything we did over the past three years, I made a few little certificates simply as a way of saying thank you.

They aren’t official awards or anything grand—just a small gesture for some of the people who gave so much of their time, energy and hearts to this group.

Of course, so many people helped us along the way, and I would never want anybody to feel that their contribution wasn’t appreciated. Every person who cooked, donated, packed, carried, drove or helped in any way was part of what we accomplished.

This is just a little thank-you, with a great deal of love and appreciation behind it. ❤️🇮🇱

I have written and erased this post several times because I don’t know how to write a conclusion to something that I don’t want to end.

For almost three years, this group became part of our lives. Every week there was food to organize, money to find, cooking and baking to do, bags to pack, boxes to carry and soldiers waiting for their Shabbat meals. Some weeks I honestly didn’t know how we would manage—but somehow, we always did.

I look at all these photographs and can hardly believe how much we accomplished. Thousands upon thousands of meals travelled from our kitchens to soldiers throughout the country. Behind every photograph were so many people giving their time, money, kitchens, cars, energy and hearts.

I’m not going to name everyone because Yehudit did that so beautifully, and I would be terrified of leaving somebody out. I simply want every person who took part to know that you mattered. Whether you helped every week or only when you could, you were part of something incredible.

The truth is that the same small group of people could not continue carrying so much every week without stopping. We are tired, and this break is necessary. Perhaps taking a break now is the only way to protect everything good that came from this—the friendships, the love and even the possibility of doing something again one day.

So I am not calling this the end. I don’t know what happens next or when, but I am leaving the door open.

I am so proud of what we did, so grateful to everyone who did it with us and so thankful that I had the privilege of being part of something I never imagined I would experience in my lifetime. ❤️🇮🇱

🇮🇱 Almost Three Years—and We Are Still Here for Our Soldiers 🇮🇱

I have just finished my share of the cooking for our soldiers this week, and I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, everyone who continues to cook, donate, pack, drive and help us.

We have been doing this for almost three years. Sometimes we are tired. Sometimes I look at the week ahead and wonder, “How am I going to manage everything again this week?”

But one thing I know for certain: we will not give up.

As long as our soldiers need us, we will continue to stand beside them. We will keep sending them home-cooked food, support and plenty of love—so they know that we are thinking about them, that we appreciate them and that we will never forget them.

But to continue, we also need your help.

There are several ways you can support us:

סיימתי עכשיו את החלק שלי בבישולים לחיילים לשבוע הזה, ואני רוצה להודות מעומק הלב לכל מי שממשיך לבשל, לתרום, לארוז, להסיע ולעזור לנו.

🇮🇱 Back home, and straight back to our soldiers ❤️

After spending two wonderful weeks in South Africa with Moshe, I came home to Israel, and one of the first things I did this Friday morning was get in the car and drive down to bring food, chocolates, drinks and a little bit of love from our neighborhood to our soldiers.

While I was in South Africa, I met an IDF soldier who lives there but comes back to Israel to do reserve duty.

I told him about what we do. I told him how we bring the soldiers home-cooked food and chocolates, and how I always make sure to give a Monster drink to the soldier standing guard.

He became incredibly emotional. It actually brought tears to his eyes.

And he said to me:

“You have no idea. You have no idea what you do when you do that.”

That moment stayed with me.

Sometimes we think, it’s only a meal… it’s only some chocolate… it’s only a drink.

But to the soldier receiving it, it means so much more.

It tells them: We see you. We appreciate you. We haven’t forgotten you. And we are WITH you. ❤️

That is why we keep cooking, packing, shopping and driving.

And we can only continue doing it with your help.

One of the soldiers we support was genuinely blown away by the donations and meals that were provided.

Every week, volunteers cook, organize, pack, and deliver homemade meals to soldiers serving around the country. What may seem like a simple donation is quickly transformed into meals that reach soldiers who truly appreciate knowing that people are thinking about them.

There are moments that remind us why this work matters so deeply.

Today, I received an urgent message from a soldier in the field. His unit had no food available and they were genuinely hungry, needing something as quickly as possible. In situations like this, waiting isn’t an option.

Because of the donations we’ve received so far, I was able to act immediately — I ordered pizzas from the same area and arranged a taxi delivery directly to the soldiers. The logistics were a bit complicated, but when you’re determined to help, you make it happen.

What stayed with me wasn’t just the delivery itself, but the feeling behind it — knowing that soldiers can reach out and trust that someone will respond. That someone will step in. That they are not alone.

It was also very good to be reminded that we truly have each other’s backs here.

Our goal is simple. We usually send food every Friday for Shabbat, and because we send in generous amounts, it often lasts through Sunday and sometimes even Monday. But there are also moments when we receive an urgent call that they have no food and they need immediate support — and that’s when we step in right away.

If you are able to help, even a small donation goes directly toward providing food and immediate support for soldiers in the field.

We begin a new and meaningful week. A week in which we celebrate our independence while also remembering and honoring our fallen heroes, our brave soldiers, and all those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

During a week like this, we are reminded how strong our community can be when people come together with heart and purpose.

Our cooking effort continues, and we are so grateful for every person who helps make it possible. Our donors, our drivers, our cooks, our organizers, and everyone who quietly steps in whenever needed. Every act of kindness matters, and every contribution helps more than words can say.

As more needs continue to arise, we continue to stand ready to support our soldiers and those who need us most. They should always know they are not alone.

If anyone would like to be part of this effort, there is always room for more helping hands. Whether through cooking, driving, donating, or simply helping spread the word.

בכל שבוע, בכל מצב, עם כל העייפות אנחנו ממשיכות.

אבל עכשיו, לקראת פסח, חג של חירות, של משפחה ושל בית, הכוחות קצת נגמרים.

אנחנו רוצות להמשיך לתת לחיילים שלנו אוכל חם, טעים ומלא אהבה גם במהלך החג, כולל שבת וימי החג השני.
כדי שזה יקרה, אנחנו רוצות לעבור לקייטרינג כדי לאפשר לנו לנוח קצת ועדיין לא לוותר על הנתינה.

Dear friends 💙

Since the beginning of the war on October 8th, our incredible group of women has been cooking with love for our soldiers who protect us day and night.

Week after week, no matter the circumstances, even through exhaustion we kept going.

But now, as Passover approaches, a time of freedom, family, and home, we are feeling the fatigue.

We still want to make sure our soldiers receive warm, nourishing meals filled with love throughout the holiday, including Shabbat and the second days of Passover.

To make this possible, we are hoping to raise funds for catering so we can continue giving while also allowing ourselves a bit of rest.

Our goal is 12,000 NIS
Cost per meal is 35 NIS
About 120 soldiers

Every donation, big or small, is another warm meal.
Another moment of strength. Another reminder they are not alone.

Sometimes it’s important to pause and really see the power of one group of good people coming together. I want to say a huge thank you to every single one of you—for your support, dedication, generosity, and big hearts. What we do together is truly special, and it’s something to be proud of.

This group meant the world to Iris. Our work, our achievements, the cooking, the driving, the helping—everything we do here inspired her and gave her a deep sense of belonging. She felt involved, motivated, and proud to be part of this group. Being able to cook, drive, and help others filled her with purpose and joy. Iris touched all of us, and she will always remain a part of this group and everything we stand for.
