Photoshoot days are honestly a mix of styling, shifting things around 20 times, finding the right angle, and a little bit of chaos in between.

There’s always someone fixing cushions, moving props two inches to the left, adjusting curtains for light, or standing on furniture trying to get the shot. And somehow, we enjoy every bit of it.

What makes it even more special is when the clients are part of the process too, watching their home being captured through all these smaller moments.

Documenting a beautifully lived-in space is something we’ll always keep going back to.

For all the little moments that deserve it.

The nail hub was designed for the days you walk in after a long week, before an event, after a small win, or honestly just because you felt like getting your nails done.

From the moment you step in, the space starts to feel a little more personal. The curved wall gives enough separation without making it feel cut off. The marble table anchors the centre, while the shelving and arched bead detail quietly frame the setup without overdoing it.

It’s the kind of place where appointments turn into conversations, where you sit a little longer than planned, and where small routines start feeling a bit special.

We say this a lot at the studio, but a home really starts becoming meaningful when it begins to reflect the people living inside it.

Not just through furniture or colours, but through the smaller things. The way someone likes their mornings slow, the corner they naturally sit in, the kind of lighting that makes them feel at ease after a long day.

That’s honestly the part of design we enjoy the most. Understanding people first, and then building spaces around the way they actually live.

Because at the end of the day, good interiors are not just about how a home looks. It’s about how life feels inside it.

No one likes waiting.

And that’s exactly what got us thinking, imagine you’re mid-session, and you don’t have to step out to another store just to grab a coffee. That’s what inspired us to tuck a café right inside this salon.

So if you walk in with your better half, your kid, or a friend, they’ve got their own little corner to chill at, grab a snack, or just sit with an espresso and enjoy it.

We designed it with the same colours and feeling as the salon, but gave it its own café character. patterned flooring, a mural on the wall for that playful touch. It doesn’t feel like an add-on; it feels like it was always meant to be there.

You’d be surprised how much the final space depends on the tiniest details.

Like the way a texture catches light.
Or how one material sits against another.
Or that one curve we adjusted 14 times because it just didn’t feel right before.

This is honestly the part we enjoy the most. Obsessing over all the smaller things nobody points out directly, but somehow they change how the whole space feels.

And then suddenly it all comes together into the final frame.

Once you move past the entrance, you’re in the hub.

And it’s called that for a reason; it’s where everything actually happens. haircut, blow dry, beard trim, whatever you’re in for, each station is designed to feel like it’s yours for that hour. not shared, not squeezed in, yours.

So in the hub every station has this oval shaped mirror with a Laminate counter top and the seating is just comfortable enough for you to really sink into your grooming session.
We made sure there’s enough space between each station so you’re not hearing your neighbour’s conversations or their loud breaths, honestly.

And once you look around, you see the ceiling has these soft curved waves moving across the space and that’s kind of what pulls it all together and completes the whole experience.

That was exactly what we were consciously trying to build.
In a commercial space, creating that kind of associative memory becomes important. It’s what stays with you long after you’ve left, when a certain tone or texture instantly brings the space back to mind.

The entrance was designed as a composed frame. The fluted backdrop anchors the reception, while the palette works quietly to create a more eased, immersive first impression.

Do you remember a space just by its entrance?

You know that feeling when you walk into a place and instantly feel a little lighter… that was the goal.
Whether you’re coming in for an appointment, an enquiry, or just walking in out of curiosity, that first moment had to stay with you.

As you step in, it’s all about the textures and tones we picked. Nothing loud, nothing trying too hard, just everything coming together in a way that gently eases you into the space without you even realising it.

Designing this weekend home along the coast was a beautiful experience.

Set in a rare location, with the sea unfolding in front and a river quietly tracing the back, the site shaped how the home came together.

We wanted every room to hold onto the view in its own way, making it a constant part of the experience. The design responds to the coastal setting, both in how it feels and how it functions.

This is how the final image comes together, and honestly, this part of the process is something we really enjoy. What looks effortless in the end is usually built through a series of small, deliberate decisions.

Objects are moved, adjusted, sometimes taken away, sometimes added back. It’s less about filling the space and more about finding the right balance within it.

Light plays a quiet but important role here too. We wait for it, work with it, and let it shape how the space is finally captured.
There’s always a contrast between what happens behind the scenes and what the camera eventually sees. But both are equally part of the story.

For us, it’s not just about the final shot. It’s about everything that leads up to it.
