"We Thought It Would Take 6 Weeks". That’s how most home renovation stories in India begin. And then it quietly turns into 4 months. The problem is not intent. It’s how homes here are built.

A simple change is never isolated. A wardrobe impacts walls. Lighting affects wiring. A kitchen upgrade touches plumbing and finishes. Everything is connected. You are still living in the house or shifting between rooms. Work and school don’t pause. So when timelines slip, it’s not just a delay. It starts affecting how you live every day.

Most homeowners choose a material and labour approach. It feels flexible. You hire different people for different jobs. Each one does their part. "Every home has a story to tell. You just have to listen."

This project was a masterclass in exactly that - listening to the space and giving it a voice through our design and earthy architecture. When we kick-started this project, we didn’t just want to "furnish" a bare shell; we wanted to optimize a home that rendered every corner feel intentional.

There is a beautiful, tactile rhythm here reminiscent of their childhood and growing years. The earthy texture of the exposed terracotta bricks plays against sleek wooden / stone panels and sharp, modern lines.

The intent was to let the light do the heavy lifting. We played with natural light as a primary design element. From a central geometric skylight that casts shifting shadows across the stairwell to that bold, a patterned terracotta screen in the balcony, circular porthole window on the facade, pouring into a framed glass pavilion at the upper floor - the residence changes its character as the sun moves.

This was a complete, top-to-bottom interior ex*****on. We didn't just handle the aesthetics; we managed the entire ecosystem:

- Bespoke bedrooms with walk-in closets and a high-function modular kitchen at 2-levels.

- A dedicated work area featuring a floor-to-ceiling chalkboard wall, because a productive space needs room for big ideas.

- A glass house themed home office allows the interplay of natural light to illuminate new thoughts and bring ideas to life.

- We took care of everything "under the hood," including the flooring, terracotta, metal structures, false ceiling, electrical, painting, glass work, and finishing touches.

Design is only half the battle; the rest is fought on-site. We provided full project management and liaison / ex*****on support, acting as the buffer between the owner and various stakeholders. Whether it was ironing out site issues or fixing errors created by other teams, our job was to ensure the original vision stayed intact and the process remained stress-free for the client.

A project like this is only possible with a partner who shares the vision. Vaishnavi was an incredible client - patient, supportive, and true visionaries. Her attention to detail is remarkable, and their intricate taste pushed us to be even more precise with our craft.

A special mention about a special project that we recently executed.

Sustainable homes, driven by a minimalistic design, have a rustic charm of their own. While only a very few could stand the rigour of building such an elemental home, interior experts like us ought to remain extra careful so as not to imbalance the natural aesthetic beauty that these homes offer.

This stunning 6 BHK villa in Kanakapura Road was a dream home for the Ramesh Rao family, who took a meticulous approach to building it. We were honored to be chosen to embellish it with interiors that reflect their vision.

The design embraces a simple, earthy palette to enhance the beautiful, sustainable brick structure. The interior design mirrors the aesthetic of the filler slab roof, highlights the yellow Jaisalmer marble flooring and exposed brick walls. We had the privilege of creating custom wardrobes, storage cots, a modern modular kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, an entertainment and puja unit, study units, and even a modern gym room.

What you see here is the seamless blend of tradition and modernity come to life, with the core remaining deeply embedded in earthy satins, while the aesthetics are further augmented by contemporary design.

We are so excited to share a home improvement project we recently finished for Bhuvana Younus.

Our 15-year-old relationship with this family continues even today. Back then, we built their villa on the pristine outskirts of Bangalore at eagleton resorts, and here we are today, 15 years later, renovating their much-loved apartment, Sobha City, Thanisandra - Bangalore.

The idea was to go beyond visual and functional enhancements, it was also about making her home better for daily living - pretty, safe and secure. As part of this redesign and development engagement, We:

- Completely changed how the home was set up. This makes it easier to move around and fits what Bhuwana will need in the years to come.
- Gave the kitchen a full makeover. We combined the kitchen with the utility to accommodate all the appliances and a cozy space for seating by the window. It's now much easier to cook in and looks absolutely beautiful.
- Turned the open terrace into a comfy spot. From retiling the balcony area to storm water drain fitting to comfortable seating, It's now great for relaxing with a small area for work – a nice place to enjoy the outside.

Besides the big changes like adding a new metal roof with false ceiling, UPVC doors and windows, replacing all the washroom fixtures and adding a shower panel to separate the wet and dry areas - we also took care of the whole house. This meant fixing any small damages or worn-out parts, giving everything a fresh coat of paint, new curtains and sprucing up her old furniture so it fit perfectly with the new look.

This project was a real joy for us, and it's wonderful to see how our designs can make such a positive difference in people's lives! We thank Bhuvana for the continued trust and faith and hope to be of service to her again in the future.

There's something so special about a home that truly feels like an extension of yourself. It's not just about the furniture or the layout, but the overall feeling you get when you walk through the door.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Vinay and Vani to create that feeling in their apartment at Navami Landmark. Although the clients were based out of town and couldn't often visit to oversee the work, they trusted Archiscape. We made sure to keep them fully informed through every phase of the design and implementation. From sharing detailed plans and visuals to providing regular updates, we ensured they felt involved and informed every step of the way.

As part of bringing their vision to life, we carefully considered every detail. We worked to select the perfect palette to complement their style and the design of their modern kitchen, the functionality of their new wardrobes and the elegance of the false ceilings. The right wall colors and treatments brought everything together, creating a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere throughout their home.

When we started on this project, we sought a guiding light. Something that would truly capture what are setting out to achieve and we came up with:

"In the art of home renovation, stories find new life. We honor the past, embrace the present and shape the future, while preserving precious emotions that reside within."

Our first meeting with Sanjay Sir and Suma mam was unforgettable. A couple who had weathered life’s highs and lows together, facing every challenge with courage and smiles. We knew their home had to be a reflection of their journey and their stories. And with that vision, we brought it to life.

This project at Prestige South Ridge, an upscale 20-year-old property, needed modernization. The homeowners had precise, meticulous requirements, from integrating new design elements to restoring and repurposing cherished furniture. This renovation was more than just a project, it was filled with invaluable lessons, not just in workmanship but in life.

As a full-service provider handling everything from design to restoration to ex*****on, Archiscape delivered:
1. Entire Flooring Change: We faced the classic Bangalore challenge of uneven subfloors, but meticulous leveling and precise installation gave them a flawless foundation.
2. Washroom Restoration: Renewed glass partitions, mirrors and storage to give it a refreshed look.
3. Furniture Refurbishment: Cherished family pieces got a second life. Matching finishes and delicate repairs preserved their history while updating their look.
4. New Puja Room: Creating a blissful place within a busy home was a great outcome, finding harmony in limited space.

Yet another landmark handover in 2025 - TRRIM & TALK studio in JP Nagar.

We are super-thrilled to unveil this latest unisex salon design project! Long-standing patrons - Narayan and Shivani graced us with an opportunity to transform an 800 sq ft bare shell space into a chic and inviting salon, makeup and styling destination.

Our vision was a modern monochrome palette, featuring crisp white walls, a sleek black ceiling and floor and a refreshing splash of pastel green for a touch of nature. A clever design element: large mirrors on the glass wall serve a dual purpose, reflecting light and creating a sense of spaciousness indoors while showcasing vibrant posters to attract clients from the outside.

The studio's colorful products and carefully curated lighting add the perfect touch of warmth, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere. Archiscape handled everything from design to implementation - flooring and wall paints to fixed furniture, lighting, rafters and those striking mirror panels.

We are excited to share this recent interior design project-a beautiful puja room transformation!

Our clients, Mr. Srihari Krishnan and Mrs. Sandhya Krishnan, envisioned a space that felt like a temple, where divinity resonated throughout their home. They wanted to honor their existing 3-foot tall Tanjore painting of Lord Venkateshwara and several portraits, use them in the new design.

Here's how Archiscape brought their vision to life:
- Designed a semi-enclosed puja room using a custom CNC partition for a sense of privacy while still allowing glimpses of the deities.
- Intricate "jharokas" added into the partition creating auspicious views of the Lord without requiring direct entry into the puja room.
- A hand-carved "gopuram" with focused lighting to add a traditional and majestic feel to the space.
- Veneered storage and a carefully curated color palette to blend well with the existing living and dining areas.
- A "mandapam" for Garuda and divine scriptures etched onto the partition to further enhance the spiritual ambiance.
- Strategic lighting to highlight the deities and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
- Existing furniture was reupholstered to complement the new design, creating a modern look.

We are incredibly proud of the final result and so grateful for the opportunity to create this sacred space for our clients.
