Guardian of the Leap
In the silent kingdom beyond the black sea cliffs lived a creature feared by all — a pale beast with the face of sorrow and the strength of storms.
One twilight, a young woman arrived there alone, carrying a heart wounded by betrayal and a longing she could not name.
Instead of devouring her, the beast wrapped his enormous arms around her trembling body as though shielding a flame from the wind. Night after night, they sat together beneath the moonlit sky while a white horse leaped endlessly across the distant staircase — a symbol of escape, freedom, and faith.
For she realized the true beast was never him, but the cruelty of those who judged love by appearances alone. And at the edge of the abyss, beneath the silver horizon, the guardian and the girl chose each other — not to escape the world, but to leap into it together.
I chose oil for its slow blending—like thoughts that refuse clarity. The surreal style inspired me drawing from echoes of Salvador Dalí.
