Concept: Modern Neoclassicism meets Atmospheric Minimalism
Located in Lucknow, this residence is a study in balanced proportions and light-driven aesthetics. The design departs from traditional heavy ornamentation, opting instead for a "clean-line" approach to classical elements.
*Key Architectural Features*
The Facade & Fenestration: The primary elevation is dominated by a monumental double-height glass portal, framed by recessed masonry. This not only invites massive amounts of natural light into the core but also establishes a strong vertical axis that gives the structure its "grandeur."
Structural Play: The design utilizes a cantilevered balcony system paired with a sleek, dark-finished linear pergola. This creates a rhythmic "grid" of shadows, adding a layer of dynamic texture to the upper levels while providing a functional outdoor lounge.
The "Night View" Lighting Strategy: Rather than flooding the building with light, we’ve used integrated architectural lighting.
Linear LED Profiles highlight the slab edges and floor levels.
Wall Washers accentuate the horizontal V-grooves and stone-finish textures.
Up-lighting on the landscape elements creates a high-contrast, dramatic silhouette.
Landscape & Boundary Interaction: The boundary wall is treated as an extension of the interior. It features recessed arched niches and a central water feature, effectively turning the front lawn into a private courtyard sanctuary.
