Originality is an art. Copying is a choice. And today, I’m calling it out.

When someone takes a design straight from our page, without even the basic courtesy of acknowledging the effort behind it, it’s genuinely disappointing.

At Hamper Cuisine, we don’t just create designs. We conceptualise, experiment, source materials, and work on every little detail to bring our ideas to life.

We create our designs using MDF, acrylic cutting and metal sheets, and the finish we strive for comes from the materials, precision and hours of work that go into each piece. A single A4 metal sheet costs approximately ₹1,000, and a design of this size could require 3–4 sheets alone, apart from cutting, finishing and labour.

And here’s what I really don’t understand — when you already have 30K followers and a team of designers, why not invest that creativity into making something of your own? Why copy someone else’s work instead?

Inspiration is one thing. Replicating someone’s original design without permission or credit is another.

Behind every design is an investment of time, money, creativity and countless trials. It deserves respect.

I believe there is enough room for everyone to grow in this industry, but growth should come from your own creativity, not by taking someone else’s hard work and presenting it as your own.

Be inspired. Learn. Innovate. But please, create your own identity.
