There are some things you find… and some things that find you. 🤍
One evening, I found this old wooden plank lying by the side of the road. I brought it home, not really knowing what I would do with it. And then it sat there. For a long time.
Every now and then, I’d look at it and wonder, What am I supposed to make out of you?
Until I finally knew.
I had always wanted something in front of me that would remind me of this simple truth:
Without Jesus, I can do nothing.
Not Yatsar.
Not parenting.
Not the big things.
Not even the smallest, most ordinary things of this life.
So I turned that forgotten plank into something I needed to see every day.
A 24 × 7 inch hand-painted wooden piece, with raised 3D lettering, now hangs in a little corner of my home. A place where it quietly reminds me to realign myself when I need it — speaking to me, without actually speaking. If you know what I mean. 🤍
This was always meant to be my personal piece.
But a friend encouraged me to share it, because perhaps there’s someone else who needs this reminder just as much as I do.
So, for the first time, this one is now available in the Yatsar shop.
If this is a reminder you’d like to have in your own home, just ping me. 🤍
And there’s another one already on its way to someone’s home in a different colour — I’ll be sharing that one in my next post. ✨
