To maximize the existing volume, we integrated skylights that flood the interiors with natural light. This addresses the generous ceiling heights - where a loft wasn’t feasible due to the lack of practically usable true double height clearance.

In revitalizing a 50-year-old workspace, we looked to its industrial roots to experiment with a new perforated screen element. We wanted to do more than just renovate; we aimed to play with raw materials that reflect the setting, create a striking ‘old meets new’ aesthetic, and open up the floor plan to the outdoors—letting the landscape breathe into the heart of the office.

To transform a dilapidated building & its facade into an interesting elevation that is functional, yet aesthetically pleasing meant a constant journey with iterations in 3D models - we’re excited to see things take physical shape !

We are developing a portion of a former well-known landmark building in Nashik. This adaptive reuse project focuses on resolving the original dilapidated building’s design intent for modern use. Our goal is to respect the existing architecture while transforming the site into a functional contributor to Nashik’s urban landscape.

At the Design Studio for MANTIS, our space is proof that adaptability isn’t about size—it’s about intentional design. Throughout the day, our studio functions effortlessly, moving from quiet focus to collaborative meetings to creative brainstorming during breaks, all while effectively integrating with the immediate context of our work. ☕️💻🗣️🌿
We prioritize flexible planning to ensure our studio functions optimally across different times and needs. It’s a constant exercise in maximizing potential, showing how spatial design can empower dynamic daily use.

More than just an entrance. Our office threshold space is a multifunctional design intervention: part foyer, part waiting area, part breakout zone, and part outdoor bench. It’s the design solution that turned a tricky access point into a vibrant entrance, & essential part of the studio.

Planning the Design Studio for MANTIS was an exercise in spatial adaptibility. We focused on the power of simple adjustments—understanding that strategic additions and subtractions in the plan impact how the space functions. 👷🏽‍♀️
Through the careful process of drawing and iteration, we explored every possibility ✍🏽 It’s this detailed, visual development that allowed us to unlock the maximum potential and ensure the final plan truly works for us.
