A house is less an object than a relationship — an agreement between
structure and light, between the garden pressing at the glass and the
people who slow their days inside it. This residence was shaped around
that idea: travertine and walnut carry the warmth, full-height glazing
dissolves the line between inside and out until the garden feels like
another room, and every material was chosen for how it will age rather
than how it photographs. Nothing asks to be noticed. What remains is
space that breathes — architecture that doesn’t perform, but waits to be
lived in, where light does the decorating and time finishes the work.
