Finally the right way to photograph the transparent decor frame made of real flowers!? Laura what do you think?

This is a decor piece custom made for , a fabulous B&B with amazing view of the Monferrato hills.

Shooting in the sky might be a good way to showcase this transparent frame, but it is definitely NOT the right way to care it. It must be placed in a shaded area where there is dry and cool with no direct sunlight.

Please avoid the followings as all of these conditions may make your dried flowers fade and brittle:

direct sunlight
direct air-conditioning
extreme heat, dust and water

The violet harvet this morning - one of my favorite flowers for creations especially when it is purple 💜

Violet symbolizes innocence, modesty and true, everlasting love. It can also symbolize faith, spirituality, mysticism and remembrance. In Christianity, Violet symbolizes the Virgin Mary's humility. It is believed that these flowers blossomed when the angel Gabriel told Mary that Jesus would be her baby. Faith.

I am thinking to make a set of bijoux with these 3 violets as they are very big in dimension, approximately 4cmX4.5cm. Instead with small violets I have collaged a few flowers with 18K gold plated accessories a statement necklace (swipe to see the 2nd & the 3rd photo), a chunky yet elegant piece for the wonderful spring time -- check out my story for its video.

Finally a moment of "me time", enjoying a herbal tea made with fresh wild camomila (pineappleweed) from my garden and coriander honey from my neighbor, entirely exotic💕

I have never seen wild camomila growing in my region but they are everywhere in the Alps. Last autumn I brought back a few plants from Champoluc and transplanted in our garden, but they died quickly.

Just a few days ago it was a miracle seeing their green sprouts everywhere -- they self seeded in my garden🤩! As an annual plant wild camomila can grow just about anywhere but has a gift for growing in the most uninviting locations. That includes places even dandelions can't take root.

If you are also a passionate forager, you must try pineappleweed for salad! I made a fish salad with the fresh plants last November in Champoluc and the apple/chamomile/pineapple aroma still lingers around my face.

Stop and smell the roses. Only by slowing down we can smell the fragrance of nature💚
