G.T.DESIGN. Pioneers of the contemporary rug. Since 1977 Dal 1977 G.T.DESIGN progetta e realizza oggetti nel totale rispetto dell'uomo e dell'ambiente.

La strada intrapresa tra gli anni '80 e '90 ha guidato Deanna Comellini, designer e art director, e Michele Preti, con lei a capo dell'attività, verso un'idea di design non-perfetto, quindi autentico, reale ed emozionale. L'investimento nella ricerca sui materiali e sulle strutture tessili ha portato a scoprire le potenzialità inespresse di un settore mai realmente definito. L'elemento tessile nel

la casa, sia esso tappeto o complemento d'arredo, diviene per G.T.DESIGN espressivo e differente, lontano dalle omologazioni della produzione industriale. Innovare nel tessile d'ambiente significa ripartire dalla persona e dai gesti. Per questo teniamo conto a livello progettuale dell'interpretazione libera che ognuno può darne, dando risalto alle incostanze, alle imperfezioni, alla lavorazione manuale, al piacere diretto della materia.
