Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads out there! I’ve had a very unique experience in that I’ve had two dads for most of my life. 💗

It was very important to my angel mom Merrily that her ex-husband and her second husband got along for us girls (my sister and I). And that’s the way it’s been even after almost 19 years that she’s been our angel. We all still get together for family occasions and there is love surrounding us.

Somehow, it always comes back to my mom… Her vision for a loving blended family lives on. 💗🙏

And having this type of loving situation in our life has shown many others in our orbit and community that it can be done. Both dads put in the effort that was needed for it to work.

Grateful for both these men in my life, Dad Steve and Dad Bob, their love, support, enthusiasm and joyful energy have contributed so much.

Wishing all the dads and grandads lots of happiness! 💞

Real talk! One of the things that touched me most about this month in Sicily was watching each woman experience it in her own way. 🇮🇹👭

For some, it was the joy of waking up each morning and feeling immersed in everyday Sicilian life.

For others, it was slowing down, savoring the moment, and sharing it with new friends.

For others still, it was finally giving themselves permission to rest, receive, and practice a little self-care.

The beautiful thing is that there wasn’t one experience.

There were many.

These are just three of the women sharing a small glimpse of what this month meant to them, in their own words. 💗🇮🇹

Feng Shui for Your Dreams 💕 ~ One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that we don’t always have to wait for the dream to arrive before we start enjoying it.

I can’t be in Italy every day and maybe you can’t either. (Or insert your own dream place into the below)

But we can surround ourselves with things that remind us of what we love about Italy.

The photographs.
The books.
The mementos we bring home.

My pink walls are inspired by Italian buildings I love. My morning coffee is made in a pink moka pot. (Yes, I’m obsessed with pink, but you do you 🌸)

These tiny rituals bring me joy because they help me stay connected to a place that inspires me.

I think sometimes we make the mistake of putting our dreams somewhere out in the future.

When I retire.
When I have more money.
When I have more time.
When the circumstances are perfect.

But what if we invited a little bit of the dream into our lives right now?

What if our homes reflected who we are, what we love, and where we hope to go?

As someone who has spent more than 20 years teaching feng shui lifestyle and traveling to Italy year after year, I’ve seen how powerful our environment can be.

When you surround yourself with reminders of what inspires you, they become daily invitations to stay connected to the life you’re creating.

Because when you live with the feeling of your dream, you’re not waiting for life to begin.

You’re already living part of it.

Happy Sunday lovelies 💕 There is so much we cannot see from where we stand today. It's just beyond the horizon.

We don’t know what's around the corner and that’s what makes life feel uncertain. But it's also what makes it magical.

Keep yourself open to all the beautiful possibilities you cannot yet see.

It reminds me of what Mary Oliver wrote:

"Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable."

The unimaginable good stuff!

Tip for Dream Manifesting ~ For most of my adult life, I thought my dream was to live in Italy.

And after spending a month in Sicily, I came home with a surprising realization.

Sometimes we get so focused on the form of a dream that we forget to ask what we’re actually longing for.

Do I want to own a pink house in Italy?

Move there permanently?

Navigate Italian bureaucracy and become a full-time resident?

Not sure anymore.

However, what I know for absolute certain is that I want to wake up hearing and speaking Italian, spend my days wandering beautiful streets, shop at local markets, linger over long lunches by the sea, and feel inspired by my surroundings.

And it turns out there is more than one way to create that experience.

This month reminded me that dreams don’t always arrive in the package we’ve been imagining.

Sometimes we need to be more creative.

More flexible.

More open to possibilities we hadn’t considered.

That’s true whether your dream is living in Italy, writing a book, opening a business, or creating a completely new chapter of life.

Here’s my takeaway. Don’t get so attached to one version of the dream that you miss all the others.

Start thinking outside the box and see where it leads you. 💗

My first walk back at home in California and I’m feeling super inspired by the women who chose to give themselves a month in Sicily… to explore, reflect, connect, and imagine what else might be possible for their lives.

There was a time I couldn’t see this for myself, and I had to get out of a constricting situation in order to actually be in this moment reflecting on this experience.

I’m profoundly grateful every day for my freedom… to choose exactly what I want to do, when I want and with whom. 🙏

So, it was very moving to witness women in midlife say ‘yes’ to new experiences, cultivate meaningful friendships, discover new parts of themselves, and step into a bigger vision for what’s still ahead.

I think one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is permission to keep growing. Keep expanding our vision for what’s possible.

It fills me with hope and excitement for what happens when women come together and open themselves to something new and life-changing.

My friend, you are stronger and braver than you know. Even if right now, it doesn’t feel that way.

Keep expanding your vision. Keep asking the Universe for guidance.

I know now what’s possible and I’m beyond excited for all the blessings to come… for you and for me. 👭

For years, I thought my dream was ‘moving’ to Italy. 🇮🇹

And after spending six amazing weeks living like a local in Sicily, I realized something unexpected.

What I was longing for wasn’t just a place.

It was a feeling.

A life with more beauty. More freedom. More connection. More moments that make me feel fully alive. And for sure, more moments of trying to speak Italian. 💕

Sometimes we think a dream requires a complete reinvention of our lives.

But often it’s less about changing everything and more about bringing more of what we love into the life we already have.

That’s the lesson I’m bringing home with me.

Not that we should stop dreaming big. We absolutely must keep dreaming big.

But we don’t have to wait for the entire dream to arrive before we begin living parts of it now.

I’m excited to be creating my new dream curating more of these one month “live like a local” residencies in Sicily next year.

Both for me and for the ladies who choose to come along for the ride. 👭

Sometimes that’s where the dream begins. Smaller pieces that are much more doable.

The sea in Sicily makes you feel free. 🇮🇹 🌊Maybe it’s the endless horizon. Maybe it’s the fresh sea air.

Maybe it’s the feeling that life is bigger than our routines, responsibilities, and to-do lists.

Whatever it is, every time I come here, I feel it. A sense of possibility. A sense of freedom. A sense that there is still so much to discover, experience, and say yes to.

This stretch of coastline, just minutes from Ortigia, has become one of my favorite places. Not just because it’s ridiculously beautiful, but because of how it makes me feel.

Expansive, hopeful and alive inside.

As I look out at the sea, I’m reminded that our dreams don’t have to stay in the future.

💃🏻 Sometimes they begin with one decision. One trip. One conversation. One brave YES!.

This month in Sicily has reminded me of that again and again.

The horizon always feels full of possibility. “I can see clearly now.” Love that song! ☀️
