【What can be felt and conveyed only in tea-producing regions / お茶の産地で感じて、伝えられること】

It was already two months ago!
On 23 October 2025, we visited the delicious organic tea farm, 'Idonoi', in Minamiyamashiro Village, Kyoto, to take part in their autumn tea tree pruning.
We are currently working with the Kanon Nishikyogoku Workshop (an Autism Employment Support Institution) to create tea packaging using Uda paper from Yoshino in Nara.
This time, we had two missions: collecting pruned branches to dye the washi paper and gathering pigment soil from the farm. We also experienced tea picking and a factory tour. This project aims to express “terroir" using locally sourced ingredients.
It was unbelievably warm for late October!
The 'Sky Tea Garden', which overlooks the Mie, Shiga and Kyoto prefectures, truly felt like heaven.
The tea packaging project is progressing slowly, but each stage brings surprises that exceed expectations.
The products will be launched in our store in spring!
Meanwhile, the Idonoi farm is preparing for the next steps: a guesthouse with a sauna, a small-scale production facility and more besides.

2025年10月23日。
京都府南山城村の無農薬茶園「井戸乃井」さんの茶刈り（秋の茶の木の剪定）にお邪魔しました。
今、そこらでは、加音西京極作業所（就労継続支援B型）.kanonさんと、奈良県吉野の宇陀紙を使った、お茶のパッケージづくりに取り組んでいます。
今回、その和紙を染める剪定枝と、顔料の土を分けていただく２つミッションのもと、茶摘みと工場見学まで体験させていただきました。
その土地で取れた材料で、テロワールを表現しようというプロジェクトです。
快晴も快晴、10月も末とは思えぬ陽気！
三重、滋賀、京都の３県が見渡せる「天空の茶園」に着くと、本当に天空のようでした。
このお茶パッケージプロジェクト、ゆっくりと進行中。
毎回想定の斜め45度上の驚きがあります。
春には、マルシェでお披露目販売する予定ですので、乞うご期待！
井戸乃井さんは、今、サウナのある宿屋、少量生産のできる工場など、次なるステップに向かって着々と準備中。
