【体制変更のお知らせ】
パースペクティブの創業メンバーの一人であり、共同にて代表理事を務めていた堤卓也が、2025年10月をもってパースペクティブ代表理事を満期退任することとなりました。家業である株式会社堤浅吉漆店の代表取締役に就任したことを受けて、日本の工芸文化の中で堤浅吉漆店が担う社会的役割や可能性を考慮しての判断となります。
パースペクティブ創業時より、堤の存在ゆえに応援してくださった皆様に、こころより感謝するとともに、これからのパースペクティブにも、堤浅吉漆店にも、変わらぬ応援をお願いできればと存じます。
パースペクティブは、これまでに引き続き高室幸子が単独で代表理事を務めますが、また新しいメンバーを迎えることもあるかもしれません。工藝の森、ファブビレッジ京北、レジデンス、パートナー団体さまとのコラボレーションプロジェクト等も良い相乗効果を生み出してきていますので、しっかり育ててまいりたいと思います。一方で、サーフボード事業は順次、堤浅吉漆店に移譲いたします。
また、パースペクティブの理念の大きな部分は、創設メンバーの一人である堤の世界観からきています。特に「工藝の森」の思想は現在の堤浅吉漆店にとってもそのアイデンティティのベースになっていると感じます。そういった意味で、今後もパースペクティブとって堤浅吉漆店は、「工藝の森」のプレミアムスポンサーであり、パースペクティブの全てにとって大事なパートナーです。
今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
【Webサイト公開のお知らせ】
これまで、工藝の森、ファブビレッジ京北のそれぞれのサイトでそれぞれの場は活動について発信してきましたが、パースペクティブのコーポレートサイトは、ありませんでした。
パースペクティブはどの事業も単体で切り出すことのできない活動体であり、その有機的な全体がそのままテーマとなるような教育事業やレジデンシーは、一つ一つの事業サイトではなかなか表現できずにおりました。
創業６年にして初めて、パースペクティブの団体としてのアイデンティティやビジョンを発信するべく、パースペクティブ公式Webサイトをリリースしました。新たにパースペクティブの自己紹介としてご覧いただければと思います。

【Announcement: Team Transition & Launch of Our New Website】
We would like to share an important update from PERSPECTIVE.
Our co-founder and former co-director Takuya Tsutsumi has stepped down from his role as Representative Director as of October 2025, following his appointment as the President of Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi Co., Ltd., his family’s long-established lacquer company.
This decision reflects his wish to further explore the social role and potential that Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi can carry within Japan’s craft culture.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported PERSPECTIVE because of Takuya’s presence and contribution since our founding.
We sincerely ask for your continued support — both for PERSPECTIVE and for Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi — as we each move forward on paths that remain closely connected.
From now on, Sachiko Takamuro will continue to lead PERSPECTIVE as the sole Representative Director.
We may also welcome new members in the future.
Our activities — including Forest of Craft, Fab Village Keihoku, the Residence Program, and various collaborations with partner organizations — have been generating new synergies, and we aim to nurture them further.
Meanwhile, the surfboard project will gradually be transferred to Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi.
A large part of PERSPECTIVE’s founding philosophy came from Takuya’s worldview.
The concept of the “Forest of Craft”, in particular, continues to serve as a core identity for both PERSPECTIVE and Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi.
In that sense, Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi remains an essential premium sponsor of the Forest of Craft and a valued long-term partner of PERSPECTIVE.

Until now, we have shared updates from our projects — Forest of Craft and Fab Village Keihoku — through their individual websites.
However, PERSPECTIVE itself had no single platform that could convey our overall philosophy.
Our work cannot be separated into independent projects; it is an organic constellation of interconnected practices — research, forest-making, education, residency, and making.
For the first time since our founding six years ago, we have launched our official website to communicate PERSPECTIVE’s identity and vision as a whole.
