Some rooms don't need decoration. They need a decision.This space was already right – the panelling, the light, the quiet palette were in place from the start. What it needed was one anchor. A dark oak table with enough presence to hold the room together, softened by curved-back chairs that keep it from feeling heavy. Swipe to see where it started.

Most kids' rooms get a color scheme. This one got a story. A bicycle-kick mural on the feature wall. A jersey with his actual name on it. A "Believe" sign that isn't decoration, it's a philosophy someone's parents wanted him to grow up inside of. Design a room around a real seven-year-old, and you end up with something no mood board could have planned on its own.

Save this for the next room that needs to feel like someone's.
