The shelf is solid wood, and the grain is the whole point.
Left thick and raw-edged, the timber keeps its split face and open grain — a heavy, honest slab holding four glossy vases. Rough against smooth, matte against shine.
The warmth comes from the light tucked into the niche. The character comes from leaving the wood alone.
