Attention all novices. Beginner dressmaking classes are coming your way. It’s not just about dresses, it’s the art of handling your fabrics, scissors, and needles. On the beginner’s journey you will learn the intricacy of stitching, joy of creativity, and satisfaction of productive textile forms. Join us every Friday morning in March 9am-1230, or every Monday evening in April 5:30 – 7:30pm, You will learn how to sew and leave with an item of clothing made “by you and for you”

Classes: Fridays March 8 – Friday March 29

Evening classes: Mondays April 22 – Monday May 13th & 27th

Professional tailoring for the tailored jacket, now in an easy to follow course.
Would you like to learn professional tailoring using the traditional method of jacket construction? If you have already learned the basic of pattern making and sewing, Come join an expert class to learn how to make the perfect tailored jacket for men/women, from scratch. This 6 week course will cover the scientific method of pattern making, down to the modern finishing touches for a professional look. Classes will be held every Wednesday from April 24 till May 29.

Do you know how to sew and now need to make your own unique patterns? In beginners pattern making you will learn how to take measurements and create patterns to suit any unique figure. We’ve extended the class to fit in an extra pattern. Classes will be held on Fridays from 9am – 12noon, starting on the 3rd till 31st of May. Register now for this exciting 5week course.

Pattern making classes on Thursday 9am - 12noon September 6, 13, 20, & 27

Our weekend dressmaking class, for those interested, will take place in two sessions. Saturdays September 15 & 22 from 8am - 1pm.
